Guilty!! I bought for both nights. Chili saw them both nights at the Forum in 1982. I thought that was pretty cool.

Was just informed by GroundCTRL (who ran Mick's M&Gs last year) that a company called Future Beat is managing the VIPs this year.

The shows are listed on their website but no links.

Thanks! Do you know how this is different (if at all) than buying from Ticketmaster site?

There are no links to buy from the Future Beat site. I think Ticketmaster is the only way to go this time.

Very interesting. I had been tweeting to GroundCTRL VIP for days now asking if they were handling Mick's VIP this year, but to no avail. They never got back to me.

Hmmm. I wonder what will be different this tour. I know there's an autographed photo. Will it be a personalized? Will it be just a photo of Mick? I also saw something about an exclusive item of tour merch. Any ideas what this will be?

EDIT: What's this about?

I emailed GroundCTRL the other day asking about one of the shows that didn't have a VIP link on Mick's website. This is the email I got today:

ground(ctrl) customer support, Mar 31 12:04 PM:
Hello Ali,

Thank you for contacting ground(ctrl) Support.

These packages are now being handled by a company called Future Beat. Please feel free to click the following link for assistance.

I know haha that's me that sent the tweet. It was confusing because I got that tweet after finding out on here that it's Future Beat handing it. What possible "details" are to come? They sound kind of excited about it too.....Hahaha.

I was wondering what kind of merchandise goodie there would be. Probably nothing that comes in sizes. I would love a program, but my guess is book bag.

I bought this morning my VIP package for the NJ show on oct. 11.
section C, row 3, seat 1 (ticketmaster)
It was easy and fortunately this time they accepted foreign credit cards , not like Unleashed tour

Yes, $758. And that was not it, add the $866 ticket for the Lima-Newark flight.

Am I crazy? Yes, I am. But keep in mind I'm single, no children, so not big responsabilites and capable to usually save money. So, it's now or never, I didn't want to think twice.

Let's just hope the tour won't have any trouble and show won't be cancelled, or you will read some day a headline about the peruvian Fleetwood Mac number one fan suicide jumping from top of Machu Picchu mountain.

You're not crazy. Good for you for doing something you want to and are able to do. You only live once. I think it is great you are coming so far for a show.

That's not bad at all. And no,you are not crazy. It might be a good idea to buy insurance for 10 bucks on the ticket and 20 bucks on the flight. But $866 roundtrip from Lima to EWR. Not too shabby.

I did buy the insurance for the show. Not for the flight cause I know I'd enjoy it anyway to visit aunt and cousins.
Dallas was my first choice but on december the LIM-DFW flight was... $1800 !!! No way!!!

L.A. area was another option, but the shows are close to Thanksgiving week so I guess that's why it was expensive too. Newark was the choice!

wow, nice - happy for you!

i'm considering Newark show, if i can pull out something good for face, perhaps closer to the actual date.

have you considered flying in a few days early and going to Today show?

You are awesome. I did the same thing. No kids, I am responsible with money and I only live once and this band means a lot to me. Turns out the VIP prices are actually decent. I got middle section front row center. ROW 1 CENTER. I'm so excited. You are my hero for flying all the way out here.
I planned on flying to Houston/Dallas to see the shows there but decided on the one show for now, given what I spent I should soak it up.

I almost feel kind of silly in a way but it's nice to hear this from other people
