has anyone in the band ever said anything about he vip tickets , are they against it or do they just not want to be socializing with the great unwashed ?

I know Tommy Lee refused to do it with Motley Crue charging $4000.oo

These prices are INSANE. My friend and her daughter were going to try to get first 5 rows(16th Birthday present for the daughter), and we all agreed that we'd go $500 each(which is still f*cking INSANE).

At $750, I think I'm saying f*ck it, and going to go with nose bleeds. And the thing is, that I can afford the $750. That's not the point...it's the principle of the whole thing. You devote your entire life to a band, and then get f*cked like this???

prices reflect what people have and are willing to pay ...thank everyone who ever bought from a scalper ( the band knows what was paid they provide the tickets and and get a cut )

What bothers me about the platinum rates is that you have to buy 2.

What really bothers me is seeing the tickets I "lost" this morning in the presale (site lock up during checkout) wind up on StubHub with an extra $400 attached to them.

I got very, very, lucky and got great seats anyway, but still.

Ah yes, Very true. I still don't know why I thought you had to buy the Mick VIPs in pairs. Like i said, either way this seems to be the better deal. But do we really want to buy the VIP for every show? No, lol we don't need a collection of pictures of us with MF haha!

$750 for what you get is still way better than other bands. It costs $450 for the cheapest Eagles VIP package and you barely get anything (a mystery seat in rows 11-20...that's IT). It's $650 to get any swag and you still don't get to go on stage and meet a member of the band. For the last Who tour it was something like $600-700 each and that just got you in to see soundcheck.

It wouldn't surprise me if Stevie, Lindsey, Mick & John (or their management) decided that instead of taking a pay cut to cover Christine's share of the profits they would instead just raise prices so their cut stayed the same...

Supply and demand, simple as that. If all these shows sell out, means they can charge even MORE next time!

I didn't help, getting tix to 3 shows this morning...
