The other guy is Frank Lucido, a guitar dealer at the time. Frank sold that guitar to Peter and Mick in '79 and he was kind enough to send me that picture to use for an article on that guitar in Vintage guitar magazine in 2009.

Strange that the strings are fed in backwards and therefore wrapped over the top of the tailpiece before going over the bridge I've never seen this done on any tunomatic with tailpiece before (though of course it is done on a LP junior ,because the tailpiece is also the bridge !) .Could there be an advantage to it ?

"Top wrapping" is quite common and have been discussed in lenght among guitarists.
