Would you have minded the price if you could have been guaranteed first few rows? I feel far happier forking out knowing I'm going to be sitting up front rather than 20 rows back. We all want that elusive front row and damn the fan club for making promises it clearly couldn't live up to. Pisses me off to see the scalpers on ebay charging the earth when the European pre-sale is proof that the fans can get some great seats if it is done properly

I almost put that in my post but felt that it might be overkill on the cynicism from me today.

I don't know. Maybe they'll extend it. The venues are closer together than in the States, no?

Hell, I think we would've been happy with the first ten rows - if the majority of us could have ever found them.

Its a mixed bag sometimes... on one hand, Im excited to see "first row" posts cause a fellow Ledgie or other die-hard fan will be excited, but also saddened cause people paid the fan club to have access to those seats, extra money, and they were denied and often put in the rafters. That is not right no matter how you slice it.

Pip, at least they came thru for the Euro side of the globe, Im really happy that they are too. LOL hope those tourbooks are ready by then!

I just hope someone somehow in power will do right by the fan club fiasco.

I think my chances of getting hit by a MAC truck (no pun intended) are better than getting front row at this point. Seriously. And it's due to the fact that the only places near me are major cities...Philadelphia, DC, NYC. Demand is high. Ticket prices are higher.

And just remember, those "best seats" for arenas like the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia (where tickets are going for $125 a piece---2 tickets, $250 + facility charges = $277) are around the entire arena....unless you want to sit in nosebleeds (and if none of you have ever been to Wachovia..formerly known as First Union Center...i mean NOSEBLEEDS....MSG is going to be the EXACT SAME WAY) for 45$-$80 a ticket, you're going to buy the $125 seats because there truly are no other options as far as tickets go. The so-called "best seats available" aren't even the best seats....they're psuedo nosebleeds. Had I not sold my tickets to someone else for the last Philadelphia show, I would have been in a section across the arena from the stage, in the corner, 20 rows up. You call that choice seating for $125?? Give me a freaking break.

And let's be honest...did even Fleetwood Mac themselves think the smaller venues in smaller cities were going to sell out? No. They went there because for starters, there was some sort of demand for them but mainly because it's cheaper for them to perform there and at the same time, get some sort of revenue to gas the jet.

New York City is to Bossier City as London is to Birmingham. Larger city. Higher ticket price. Smaller city. Lower pricen (okay so Birmingham isn't as small as Bossier but..you get my analogy). The same thing happening here with ticket prices will go on overseas as well.

I can't complain...okay...well i can. But let's face it everyone, we're choosing to pay top dollar (even if we can't afford it) because we want to be as close as we can to see musicians that we love rock out hardcore on stage. Isn't that why a ****load of people joined the fan club to begin with? It certainly wasn't for a "Mick Fleetwood Rocks" bumper sticker.

LMAO! That must've taken the wind out of their sails. Serves them right; a band who willingly screws people over shouldn't be making any more money than they did at that show. Hahaha! Mick must've been depressed beyond belief...money-grubbing schmucks.

I was wondering about that. Front row was still on sale the day of the show!

You are DAMNED straight there is not reason to talk to anyone over here. You banned us and threw your frigging weight around where you could, but, big boy, you cannot do that here. This side of the fence says bye bye to you. Go away. I am sorry that you even ever thought that you could bring yourself over here, where you cannot be banned, and try to help us. Well, aren't you a prince, but, you learned from the best. You lay down in bed with JT now you and Miss Mick Balls can go to the big beyond with JT. You burned your bridges, both of you. Live with if. We have a life. We don't want you in it.
