The response on twitter is amazing, very positive. Lot of praise from young people. Guessing she will see a bump in sales on itunes.
Stevie aint going to win no emmy
but i thought she was great.
that shawl scene was utter ridic
i was half expecting them to twirl around in the middle of the room and poof away in a cloud of magic
that would have been cool!
Misty's shawl is utter fug tho wtf

that end scene though, oh my heart. it was gorgeous and sad and beautiful
sorry i don't give 2 s h!ts about Misty
maybe it would have been better not to have read all the interviews/articles
but it just seemed to me like it was a Lily/Stevie mutual appreciation society more fangirly than acting for a show.
but Fiona/Jessica and Stevie i could watch all day.
love the little bet they had

ETA: i think they must have known a lot of chiffonheads were going to be tuning in ... who weren't regular watchers of the show
coz as a not loyal viewer (i've maybe seen 2 half eps and the season premiere) they rehashed enough of the plot that you knew what was going on...but there was still a lot of dialogue i had no idea wtf was going on

Wow .Bravo Bravo. What a great job Stevie has done on this show. She can act. Also she can play that piano with no problem too.

I'm so proud of her doing this kind of stuff.

I cant wait for her next appearance.

I'm starting to get into this show.It reminds me of David Lynch's Twin Peaks back in 1989 which I love watching too.

Ryan must be a David Lynch fan too.

I'm glad there is some producers and writers with good imagination on TV now days.

Maybe I'll change my mind later but that show gives me the creeps and I don't like it. That one scene where the girl goes to put the cigarette in her vagina and the use of the word bitch 3 times in less than a minute does not make for good television viewing for me. That aside, seeing Stevie was the true highlight for me. The last 4 minutes of the show when she sang and played HAEWAFY had me balling like a baby for 20 minutes. I was so thrilled to see my most favorite person in the whole world on a national, popular television show doing what she does best.

Yes I did notice the curse factor is high in that show and other dirty things there .Thats todays TV standard.Nobody cures any more. They would not have this show 25 years ago on cable TV unless it was on HBO or Showtime .And yes the show is strange but I rather see this then reality crap shows.

I could imagine hearing Archie Bunker telling meat head Mike to go "$$^$&^#off and get off your lazy a$$ and get out of my house."on todays TV.

Yes I love HAEWAFY.I wish she could put it back in her setlist.

Thanks for those two video clips Viv.

The show airs at 10 pm on FX, is rated MA, and is called American Horror Story. I would think it was weird if there wasn't vulgarity and violence

AHS is an acquired taste!! I didn't much like the first season, BUT the 2nd one (AHS Asylum) will really twist your head, even more so than Coven.

I agree that the ending with HAEWAFY was awesome. Fiona look so "sullen" at the end, as if she'd been defeated and KNOWS indeed that she has no soul. Stevie did a magical job of catching the emotion of the moment.

I'm bummed I missed this. Is the episode, or at least Stevie's scenes, online somewhere? So far a quick search doesn't bring it up on youtube.

I'm no fan of what James Wong and his brother, along with Darin Morgan did for the X-Files, even though some people laud their episodes. I've always disliked them, but there's no doubt that this season of AHS has given me plenty of chuckles. I didn't watch Season 2. This is better than Season 1.

AHS is outrageous and I'm shocked it's the type of thing that Stevie would appear on. It was tame Wednesday though. You guys missed out on the incest, bestiality and general mutilation that we usually get.

Do you get FX? Because they will rerun it.

Well yeah. But this is of an extreme nature. I used to watch Damages on FX and it wasn't like this.

But certainly you're going to get cursing and murder a lot. It's just usually more traditional.
