Song of the Week (3)

[DownOnRodeo]

Seteca - I'll have what you're having!

But it's interesting how we can interpreet so differnetly - if not in the general meaning of the song, but the depth of meaning. Because of the somewhat 'tinny' 80s sound and the very sparse arrangement (compared with it's lush older brother This Is The Time), I always considered it moody yet in a light-weight, dreamy sort of way ... not actual real passion and anger. But as you say, it's like he's thinking as he falls into sleep, then sort of wakes up screaming - lol. You say it's abour anger - especially the solo. For me it's not so much anger as just a sort of loneliness. Again, so intriguing how we all have different takes on the songs.
