Thumbs down Time For Fleetwood Mac To Accept Fan Club Fiasco

I am personally sick of all the fan clubs crap!! I have been around and around with theses people still getting no results. I can not believe for one minute the BAND doesn't know what has gone on or continuing to go on. I am really starting to become very frustrated with my favorite band. This is all I have talked about and thought about for the last year, ever since hearing about new CD and tour coming up. Someone must put a stop to all this crap from JT and Sabre.......they are obviously pushing us fans around like pieces of S**@. Well come on Stevie, John, Lindsey, (I have my doubts about Mick). Without us the fans you could have never existed!! But you let us get trampled on like 20 year old carpet. I am fed up with this bull crap!! I have set my daughter down tonight and explained all the ends and outs of this fan club fiasco and came to the realization if something isn't done soon to right the wrongs that have been done by JT and his staff the only part of concert I will see is the outside of venue. With my picket signs with 30 to 40 of my closest friends. I know many of you will respond as to why am I being so negative against the band........Well I do not believe for one minute they are in the dark on this as I stated before. So those of you that can still respect them, well I am happy for you and your positive attitudes. But I can no longer stand quietly aside and think the great thoughts I did before about these people. Truely I am saddened by the whole thing and do not like feeling this way. But as the old saying goes if the shoe fits .....they must wear it. Hope you all can have a great time and come to peace with this whole scam much faster than I can. Have a good one all.........LANDSLIDE

Default Hey OK-Landslide

I am noticing that Fleetwood Mac visits Oklahoma City on July 1st. They arrived at least the day before. There are things you can do to put the spotlight on the issues, if you choose to do this. You can print up flyers and pass them out. You can make a sign and hang it outside the venue. You can hold up a sign or wear a tee shirt as Josh did.

One of the problems with the fan club is the lack of public knowledge. Make a bit of noise outside the venue and you might attract a local newspaper or radio reporter.

Despite the incredibly inflated number (7000??? someone posted The Todd Organization boasted???) of members, this is still a drop in the bucket in the Fleetwood Mac fan base. Some fans don't care because they were not affected. But in reality, a massive number of fans (outside of the internet) never even heard of "the Fleetwood Mac fan club." This whole thing was directed at people ON the internet. If the griping stays "on the internet" the rest of the world will never know anything about it.

Even the MSNBC article was "on the internet."

Something to think about, if you want to pursue the "real world" avenue.

Thumbs up Postive Attitude

I know I've got to turn this anger into something postive for myself and all the others who have been dumped on. I have already had shirts made for my daughter and myself. My daughter's shirt on the the front reads "PLEASE SAY YOU WILL..........then on the back FIRE TODD. Mine is just printed on the the front "FIRE JT , FOR YOUR FANS" I would hope to GOD sitting on the front row they can read them. I'm damn sure going to make sure they see my daughters if I have to stick her up on the stage!! LOL I also have contacted a local entertainment magazine in OKC and ask if I could submit an article "live review of concert" which they did agree to letting me submit it. No guarentees it will be printed, but in talking with the editor he did say I could start the article out with info about fan club scam. I have emailed every band member numerous times about the shambles the fan club has left us fans in...........no response from any of them. But then again I guess Todd screens their emails.

I hope that his day comes soon and they put his butt away for a long time. Because he has committed a crime, internet FRAUD and people do go to prison for it. I think he feels he will get away with it and he may. But he's beginning to get a litle sloppy in trying to cover up his scam. LANDSLIDE

Good Luck with the shirts and getting your message from the front row. I hope they dont "see" only what they want to see, if you know what I mean.

Hey, LANDSLIDE! What ever became of this? Did you all wear your shirts? Did Lindsey see them when your daughter and her friend played his guitar like you mentioned (in your only post to this board in months written after the OK show?)

Are you still interested in the fan club issue? Or have they "gotten" to you too now? Did you both get your refunds or something else good?

Do tell. We need to know!

They know what's going on, they just don't give a ****. And if they don't know, they're just as much to blame for not taking a vested interest in the garbage they put their name on. No one should delude themselves into thinking FM isn't to blame.

Default Time to do something else

Well, it is time to move to another plan, this one is spinning in mid air. I am working on something else right now. I am very disappointed. It is not over, but, we have wasted half of our years membership with this guy who just has lied to us over and over. I noticed now that in the last correspondence he says that the first presale went off without any major problems...HUH? and that the only ones were when Ticketmaster opened the sales too early or late...how about HE TOLD US TO GO IN AT THE WRONG TIMES EVEN WHEN WE TOLD HIM THAT WE THOUGHT THAT WAS WRONG. HE TOLD US TO NOT GO IN TOO EARLY, WE WOULD BE BANNED FROM THE SALE. He keeps changing the past but, there are some of us with long memories and big files.

I don't know what happened but it doesn't make any sense to put JT's name on the BACK of the t-shirt. It needs to be on the front to be seen.

It also doesn't make any sense to put "JT" on it instead of "Jonathan Todd." I doubt that the band knows that he's been nicknamed "JT" here on the Ledge. "JT" wouldn't mean anything to the band if they saw it.

About membership....I'm a registered user on the site although I never go there. I didn't join the fan club because something just didn't seem right to me. But I won't go over there and delete my registration because I don't trust that site. The last two times I tried to access the message board (months ago), my computer froze both times. Creepy.

So there could be 7,000 members, but actually way way smaller amount of users.

Too bad nobody with the band cares enough to do anything. They know all there is to know. They still don't care to do anything. You've worked too hard, peace, to be given the brush off. I'm sorry it's not gotten a positive result. Over all these months of fans trying to make things right, I still haven't changed my opinion on where the band and their people stand on this. I'm sorry to say, they just don't care.
