I have been feeling rather unsatisfied lately.
I'm reading all these great reviews from shows and everyone is in the front row, getting autographs, towels, touching Lindsey...etc. Now for my shows I got no where near any of that..but I was happy with my little 10th row and a blowed kiss that PROBABLY was for me or someone behind me...ugh. For NY I have 12th and for Philly I have 9th. Again, no front row. I feel down even though I have great seats that I will end up paying TONS of money for! Now is anyone else feeling its front row or nothing? I was just happy not to be in nosebleed like I was for the Dance tour it feels like. I was just happy to see them so close. But now unless I get an autograph, towel AND a strum at his guitar, I won't be happy. I can't do that from 9th or 12th row though. So I just am down and wishing I just could be 100% happy with the seats I got. I feel like a spoiled brat.

With me, it's more the first ten rows or nothing. I think it's probably going to be very hard and/or expensive to get 1st row for NY or Philly. Now if you want to go to North Dakota, front row was still avaiable last night.

Yeah, well I paid 350 for two seats in Philly and 339 for 2 seats in NY, so its already expensive.
I just was too scared to try my luck at ticketmaster 3 days before the show...I might for Philly just because I think it may be more of a possibility. But for NY, Im staying overnight and I just am happy with being so close at that venue. These are such metropolitan venues in the city I bet people aren't even allowed close up. I know at Philly NO one could do anything. Oh well.

I'll be honest here... I'm a real whore for front row.
If I see it, I can't resist. I think half the problem is that, in the last couple of years, I haven't been further back than third row for one single concert. I'm used to standing shows though, and am prepared to queue up for a good position. Yes, it's expensive since most of the time I'm too scared to wait for Ticketmaster to release the good seats. But music is pretty much the only thing I do spend cash on... when it comes to clothes and stuff like that I'm a bargain basement fiend. If I could make my own, I would. So music and live concerts is my hobby, I guess.Laura. |

I had front row tix for Stevie's Other Side of the Mirror tour....
I'll have to tell you that it was definitely, other-worldly, fantastic!! I don't know.... there's something about being RIGHT there that changes everything (mostly adreniline).... However, Janet..... You have to remember that those "front row days" are gone (unless you are a Lindsey fanatic, in which you will get to play his guitar, etc.... {not something I care for}). Hopefully, Stevie will have another solo tour. Here in L.A., the VENUES are more important than the tickets- i.e., if you can get seats in "the pit" (usuallly the first six to ten rows from the stage), you can get to the Edge of The Stage ( ) I know... I've done it.And in restropect... Front row/close seats really don't mean that much anyway- set lists DO! To see Stevie do "Beautiful Child" and watch the tears flow from her eyes is a GREAT show (even through binoculours). Trust me, honey.... 12th and 9th row will be great- unless your under 5'6"- then you gotta bring a tall person to sit on their shoulders for the evening!!!! ![]() |

Hey Janet,
I'll be two rows behind you, so you're two rows better off than me, LOL! Two tickets ($125) + fan club just to get the presale ($80) and all other charges ($$??)+ buying all the rest of the tee shirts and stuff they weren't selling the first time around (gazillion more $$$$$). Geez! AND, I'm still looking for better closer to the date! In the off-chance I get in the first 3 rows, then I've got 2 11th rows to get rid of! YIKES!! I'm trying to look on the bright side. I'm just glad to be going again. But, TONS of moola just to get in that row 11. (I won't even mention what I paid to get 2nd row center for The Dance! Embarassing but worth it!). Hang in there! go6car |

I feel for ya, Janet. At first, I felt just being in the first 10 rows was great. But then when I was actually able to get front row it was so much better. I'm sorry to bring you down, I've felt it before believe me. After my front row experience, I had 3rd and a 6th row row, and it wasn't as wonderful. Yes, I'm a spoiled brat. The only thing I can tell you is to try and get front row for at least one. I did that one day before the Salt Lake concert and I still was able to sell my other tickets!!! You might lose a little money, but its worth it!! Immediately put them on ebay if this happens. You'd be suprised that many people are still looking for any tickets, on the floor especially! Don't give up!!

I know what you mean- but you still have GREAT seats! I paid the full $125 ticket price for Atlanta (the only show I went to) and the seats were COMPLETELY to the side of the stage- I was looking at Stevie's back most of the time. It pissed me off that they charged the full price for those seats. Yes, it was still pretty close and the concert was incredible, but it kind of took away from the show.....believe me, $125 DOES NOT come easy for a 16 year old kid!
Now I am scheming to get seats for the upcoming Duluth show by *praying* to get a seat in the first few rows a few days before the show, but I have NO IDEA how I'm gonna get the money. To make matters worse, my dad despised the fact that I paid $125 for Fleetwood Mac tickets, and now I want to do it again. He might disown me (or in the least just say YOUR NOT GOING!)I'm really disappointed in the Mac for charging $125 for their tickets, and pretending like they have no say in it AT ALL. Yes, it IS completely hypocritical that the first song on their new CD is "What's the World Coming To" with the line "you can't plant no seed when there's only greed" and their tickets are $125. its, you know, shaken' the faith in me! I love their music more than anything, but this issue really is disappointing to me.... adam

Janet, I'm right there with ya. I am dying for front row, but I guess at this point I'd take anything in the first 10 or so rows for MSG, being ticketless at the moment.
There are 4 of us going to this one - me, my husband, my daughter, and my father in law. My husband said he & his dad would take a pair in the 100 section if they seemed decent, to let Erin & I try to score a pair of fabulous orchestra seats. I check TM about 10 times a day, but we still have time....keep the faith!!!Eileen

The Front Row Bug is a nasty critter!! And expensive!! It totally has to be about the adrenalin... oh and the eye contact.
To answer the original question; yes, I've uttered the words "front row or bust."~Laura (the other Laura) |

At least I am tall. Im 5'9 and I'll most likely be wearing boots that will make me taller ( it WILL be fall!), but I always feel rude being in front of people. My best friend is even taller ( model) and she doesn't care. I just slouch. BUT in front row, I wouldn't care.
I will try, and see. Not for MSG but for Philly! Wish me luck LOL! Im just glad Im not the only one who is like selfish LOLOLOL!
