Nicks fans: "TASTES GREAT!"
Buckingham fans: "LESS FILLING!"
McVie fans: "Right -- I'll just be over here having a spot of tea."
Thank you for making me smile.

As a diplomatic CM fan, I of course would not be so vulgar as to say whether or not I agree with your analysis of the other fans.

it's interesting that when asked what annoys them about chiffs so much that it sours them towards SN, Christine and Lindsey fans don't have to even think, they just have to open any FM-related social media outlet and examples just jump at you.

when asked about examples of what CM or LB fans do to annoy SN fans and sour them towards their music, you don't get any, just that everybody must know them. but i really don't.
Well if pressed for an example (which I'm reluctant to provide because it just adds to the back-and-forth infighting which the Ledge already has too much of), I was a bit put off by Post #86. It was purely speculative, rooted in an admitted personal bias, and didn't seem to serve much purpose other than to prod the over-the-top chiffs to start screaming, which is what so many people here seem to hate. Why fan the flames?

How many Lindsey fans have been expressing the desire that he focus only on his solo career and not "waste his time" with Fleetwood Mac?

As someone who owns and loves every Fleetwood Mac album ever released, I can certainly see where you're coming from, David -- but, like I said earlier, Stevie isn't the only member who has people who are her fans first and foremost, apart from Fleetwood Mac.

And for every fan who says that Stevie IS Fleetwood Mac, there are 20 more of us who don't see it that way.

Obviously that was directed at me. I've pointed out examples in the past. I've even pointed out examples to you in the past. There's no need repeating it.

i love you! and that's what makes you not like LB?? if that's a kind of post that presses your buttons, you would be constantly annoyed with chiffs if you were LB fan.

edit: plus, i didn't think it was that speculative, nor rooted in bias, and it had a purpose to clear some misunderstandings.

And see, I USED to be a fan of hers. But the above attitude left me cold, and made me not even want to listen to her anymore. They worship blindly.

but how does that lessen your enjoyment of Lindsey and FM?

when someone plants themselves in front of LB during FM show, watches only SN and constantly yells "i love you Stevie" during Lindsey's songs, that does lessen my enjoyment of the show, a lot.

Well, it was pretty passive/aggressive, no? And not even the "diva" part (which is hardly an insult). But the implication that the "weight she's pulling" in the band isn't in proportion to the weight others (*cough* Lindsey *cough*) are pulling, and the notion that, in spite of this apparent lack of weight-pulling, she would never accept being equal to anyone else in Fleetwood Mac, even Christine.

That's a pretty mild example, for sure, but -- since you were asking about examples -- there's one.

Stevie: "I told Christine that this is really hard to do now and that this is a rock and roll monster band!! We've done an album and an EP in 15 years, we've really built this band into a machine!! "

And how do you feel about the young chickies that get planted in front of Lindsey, who make googly eyes at him all night, and chat with him & yell things to him while Stevie's introducing a song or singing?

I haven't heard you complain about it.

(Meanwhile, my response to David was merely to point out that Stevie isn't the only band member who has fans who could care less about Fleetwood Mac as a whole.)

Hell, I work for a band that can record an album and an EP in less than two weeks.

it wasn't meant to be passive-aggressive. it's been reported that split within a band is not equal and that SN gets the biggest cut. as i mentioned in that post - she has the leverage (she can go out with people like RS and make FM kind of money). that's how it works, no? you have the leverage, you can get what you want.

re weight pulling, i don't think that SN would say she's doing more for the overall show or album preparation than LB, or that she's doing more work on the stage than him (therefore Mick's intro of him never leaving the stage) so i wouldn't even try to hide that's what i meant.

re diva, chiffs constantly put out as a "fact" that Lindsey is a diva. and every time i see it it feels like it's put out there to either elicit reactions or just create a bad vibe about the guy - but maybe chiffs don't even notice that they are doing it.

i started a whole thread about it. not because of Stevie, but because of fans who stand in GA line all day to be first in the venue at the stage, only to come in and find bunch of people already planted at the stage and they can't get to it. it's unfair towards those people. it happened numerous times, and examples i know were Dublin and Amsterdam, where that happened to my friends.

additionally, if people make a conversation with LB during Stevie's intros, at least they are in front of him, not her. i haven't seen or heard of people who stand in front of SN and ignore her while she talks, just to yell stuff to LB.

sorry guys, for going on a tangent, yet again.

i was just reading bunch of complaints about Kanye West claiming how his job is as hard as if he was in the military, and thinking how it's lucky for FM ladies that they are much further from the spotlight, considering their "like being in the Army" statements.

Well, it's a bit different coming from women in their '60s and '70s than from a 36 year old man in good health. The ladies can put their statements into context.

Kanye is just an @$$hole.

But Stevie was saying that when she was 36 -- or thereabouts. Michele
