I don't know that I'd be so quick to scoff at Stevie's justification for cheating, even though it sounds like an excuse, and in her case may very well be, since we've heard and seen ourselves that she has 'problems with fidelity'.

However -

(Almost) Any student of psychology will agree that when someone is making accusations, repeatedly, with no basis or evidence, that the person accusing is usually guilty of that same behavior they accuse you of, or at the very least they are guilty of that in a different relationship. After all, only a cheater, or someone prone to cheating is going to constantly be paranoid that their mate is cheating. "If *I'm* doing it, they must be too. They haven't caught me yet, so most likely I just haven't caught them."

If you are trustworthy, you will trust. If you are a cheater, you will be untrusting.

Yes, of course, there are those people who have been wronged before, and are worried it will happen again - but if you are getting cheated on, a lot, or in most/every relationship, then *you* are the problem for repeatedly choosing the wrong mate. Trust me. Stop looking for a teacher/daddy/mommy and find an actual partner who values you as much as you value them, and who offers you nothing except love. When you treat your partner like a daddy or mommy or provider, they stop seeing you as an equal, and you become a dependent.

Despite what some might think, it is also true that people accused of behavior they are not actually guilty of will often, eventually, succumb to those very accusations after a long period of time. It's not as conscience as it sounds - it happens, though, and the statistics are there, in psychology textbooks and other industry publications.

Yes, we were discussing that in the photo of the day thread. I don't think Elle knew it was Jenny Boyd. And I was like , but I wasn't definitely saying to myself, "that's not Stevie." I just thought I'd never seen the overhead picture before and the eyes weren't how Stevie would do hers, but the mouth sure looked like Stevie. I mean, I see her shape her lips like that even to this day, but it looked like Stevie from the time before Stevie even joined FM and I wondered where the picture came from.

So, I was wondering what was going on and then others said, 'Who's that. That's not Stevie. It's Jenny." But I think Elle thought all the photos are Stevie. They just grabbed 'em up off the internet I guess and said, "Oh yeah. Must be Stevie Nicks." It's kind of strange to me. If you are doing an article on someone, you'd think you'd get photos directly from their press people. But people from magazines are always running around asking other people for pictures of the people they're interviewing. That puzzles me.

Then there are people who say they love their mate but repeatedly threaten to leave a relationship if it's not everything they ever dreamed of, repeatedly consider taking up with others while mentioning it as often as possible, flirt with others of the opposite sex at every opportunity because they want to make their partner jealous, while some even go off and come back to their partner, repeatedly, while always claiming their ultimate fidelity, yet due to their erratic behavior there is no way to know if they ever intend to stay put very long, THEREFORE, causing terrible insecurity in their partner...

Of course, nobody knows anyone like this.

Yeah, magnifying the image, I think the overhead shot is an honest mistake, but the one with the umbrella is nothing like her. The chin almost seems to have a small cleft or dimple in it. I don't know why that didn't jump out at me immediately.

I'd like to see Stevie's face when she flipped through the magazine spread and saw the pictures herself. She was probably like, "What the heck??"
