I wish SYW had one Lindsey song followed by one Stevie song throughout the whole CD. Too many songs by one singer in a row feels too much like a solo album.
I feel like Lindsey has his stamp all over Stevie's songs so the only time it ever gets to sounding like a solo album to me is on some of Lindsey's songs.

None of them looked less like themselves than Christine though, with The Dance and on her own solo album. I thought some body double kidnapped her.

SteveMacD,
Sold her publishing in '98(?). So I'm guessing
you're in agreement with me. It is about the
$$$.

Are there other reasons for her return? Sure!
But they all know time is not on their side. So
one more cash grab doesn't look bad at all in my
opinion.

Just a few request on my part (and others):

1. A Good album by the 5.
2. A decent music video.
3. A tour book that contains recent photos that aren't "fixed".
4. A Blu ray/DVD Concert Documentary of the tour.

You aren't going to get #3. I mean, you'll get the tour book, but unfixed photos? Don't ask for the stars, just take the moon.

You added something I hadn't thought about yet to #4. DOCUMENTARY. Yes, indeed. We do need a Destiny Rules that includes Christine pretty badly. I would be in heaven if this happens.

There is a lot to like about SAY YOU WILL, and that is precisely the problem. Because of the sheer volume of content, the intense tone of the songs, coupled with the moody, steely production techniques, the songs kind of get lost and are harder to appreciate. Lindsey left no room to breathe.

After much thought and editing to make the songs more approachable, this was my idea: (despite knowing this is useless speculation -- just mindful chatter to delay thinking about more important things...things I can control!)

Side one
1. Say You Will (single mix)
2. Miranda
3. Thrown Down
4. Peacekeeper
5. Running through the Garden
6. Come

Side two
1. Destiny Rules
2. What’s the World Coming To
3. Smile at You
4. Murrow Turning Over in his Grave
5. Everybody Finds Out
6. Steal Your Heart Away

The six songs retracted from the album, when, combined with the two studio outtakes and two live cuts featured on the bonus disc from the deluxe version, you have pretty much another album. This could have been a nice after-the-tour release to fill in the wide gap of time to follow. (Wish I could think of a creative title for the companion album, but I'm at a loss at the moment. But then again, this is all just a dream scenario).

1. Peacekeeper (live)
2. Illume
3. Bleed to Love Her
4. Silver Girl
5. Love Minus Zero/No Limits
6. Not Make Believe
7. Red Rover
8. Goodbye Baby
9. Say Goodbye
10. Say You Will (live)

I honestly couldn't believe my eyes. But Christine McVie really was trending number 1 on yahoo news yesterday.

I think she held that spot for 3 days in a row.

Default Christine

I might be wrong here, but my impression is that this interview happened quite awhile ago and that Christine rejoining is a done deal, hence the reason she was with the band in Amsterdam getting into her own limo.

Here's hoping that your theory is correct.

I just can't imagine her putting that in the media without discussing it with the band first.
