The Destiny Rules documentary alludes to this drama, though. There was the whole issue of the double vs single album concepts. We all know Lindsey ended up losing that battle. He confessed after that matter was settled that it nearly broke up the entire project/band, but he lost his push for a double album. However, he got pretty much the same amount of songs he wanted, just on one disc. He had to eat royalties as a writer to do that, but he seemed fine with that decision. So I'm guessing the fallout was a creative difference: was the album to be double or single; was the material to be experimental or safe; what was the tracking order; etc. I still wonder if Stevie was happy with how her songs have turned out on Say You Will, but she has never disparged them (that I know of). Lindsey has pointed to the album being disjointed, though.
