Default Seasonal albums?

I've come to realize that I listen to certain albums more, depending on the weather. Does anyone else experience this? The "sudden fondness for Street Angel" thread really drove it home because this is very much a summer album for me, as is TISL. Rock A Little seems interchangeable, and Bella, WH & OSOTM are usually for rainy days for me. I suppose it depends on where you live as well! As for FM, I haven't really thought about it as much, but the white album is definitely summer. With SYW, I don't know yet since it's pretty much been summer since it came out! (And, believe me, it's getting A LOT of play!)

that's so funny you start a thread like this because i was just thinking about this last night.....and, you can thank me for the Street Angel thread!!! anyway, Street Angel is a summer album for me....TOSOTM usually gets played in late summer...the Bob Welch era albums are definately fall records for me....oh, the Enchanted box set is a summer one as well....the others are pretty much all season friendly.

I listen to all of them year-round, but I suppose I think WH and TOSOTM are winter, BD and SA are fall, TISL is spring, and RAL is summer.

Default Yes...

I understand you completely. The Wild Heart is a winter album, mainly because of all the references to the seasons changing, summer becoming fall and cuddling up with warm blankets. Bella Donna feels like Fall, and Rumours and TISL makes me think of Summer. However, I'm probably most influenced by when these albums were released, although I'm not sure about Rumours-- was it released in the summer?

Wow...so cool that you started this thread, I thought I was the only person who did this with albums...and not only Stevie/FM ones, with most of my albums....Rock a Little is an August/Sept album for me, and Street Angel definetly a summer album...the rest I don't really have seasons for...lol...but there are more from other artists that are exclusive to one season

Cool. I actually was just thinking that SYW actually has a very Winter feel to it; very intense

TISL is sooo my fav Summer album

BD and WH are very Winter...

I don't know why, but I always listen to the Practical Magic Soundtrack during the fall. Something about the mood of the entire album, especially Crystal that just fits the season to me (fall is my fav season btw ).
