Impeaching mentions were going around when Bush and Clinton was in office I doubt it very much it will ever happen to Obama unless he pulls some serious crap to cause an impeachment proceedings..

^ The key word being SERIOUS. Baguettes attaching his name to a cover-up or "scandal" does not merit an impeachment. Neither does refusing to read a long-form birth certificate despite it being released to the public several times.

Obama's scandals ARE SERIOUS AND NOT TO BE TAKEN LIGHTLY, and so they DO actually merit impeachment!

The tea party has been crowing often in religious fanatical terms that it's going to punish their many hated enemies for years, including shutting down the government (started getting cheers to that in 2010). What was the old line about the enemy being 'us' or was that U.S.? We are all hostages now, this is the new (ab)normal.

People who don't do their basic job for six months because they are against the very thing they are elected into shouldn't be paid never mind lavishly.

Would love to see all politicians these days who preach simplistic austerity lead by example, eh. That'll happen just as soon as their kids are the first to enlist for a war...

For those outside of the country that give two sh*ts about the US (and that is certainly not a large group), I'm ashamed that this is the impression that they're getting. Hijacked by our own country, by simpletons no less! A torch mob repeating cheap played out rhetoric that thinly veils the fact that they don't like a person of color in charge.

I remember the rhetoric about Clinton so was pretty dubious about the hate of Obama being about race for very many, but even that is starting to seem a possible motive lately because of illogical actions that scorch earth the very nation supposedly served. I think the corporate culture of being above or beyond any nation though is more suspect. All that secret Kenyan/muslim birth certificate conspiracy stuff from Trump (born in Jamaica if you like your half truths) just to confuse and play upon lowest common denominator us vs. them identity stuff never happened?

Months they are asked to work with the one side and refuse then suddenly when there is a tight deadline then they want to to extort something under duress. They said they would do this and have and then want to not own it. Giving equal time to 'both sides' just allows some to continue to be 'confused' when one side makes things up (like the manufactured outrage about Obama not calling something a terror act post funding of security by the outraged when he did call it that). Banana republics play these games and Obama and the Democrats compromised on the budget even with the house Republicans refusing to talk for months (until now demanding it).

Last word to the motivated fanatics but the quality of news in the U.S. has been questionable to those with outside perspectives for years now unfortunately. It's obvious FCC rules need to be restored that were removed along with all the banking and financial regulations tossed for supposed stimulation.
