Heres some old Opry vids of Lady A.

I just realized that Hillary is 27 the same age Stevie was when she and Lindsey joined FM.

CMT has full play online. Just watched half of it. It's beautiful. I couldn't help think about the waste of time, and disrespect she received, with Rod Stewart on tour after seeing her with Lady Antebellum. She's in her realm here.

I agree.I dont know why she even bothered touring with him.I dont have anything against Rod and his great tunes and puts on an awesome show.

It also messed up her IYD release debut.

Maybe Stevie will record and tour with Lady A next year.

Thank you so much for being so timely! I was able to record it.

It was really enjoyable to watch. I liked the band more than I thought I would. They were an inspired choice for Stevie. She clearly enjoys singing with others, and these performances display her gift of great harmonizing. She looked just like a member of their band! I wonder if this show will gain her a new batch of fans -- people who might have had misconceptions about her talent.

I love the little vignettes between songs, where they are having conversations. Stevie was very eloquent, and showed little pretension. She came off as a wise sage without trying be, and said some very sincere things that really touched them.

I'm convinced Stevie has the potential to make a great country/rock album. Her friend Sheryl Crow just put out her first country album. I hope Stevie follows suit, inspired by this experience.

I liked the part between songs when Stevie was saying sweet things about Hillary's voice/look/innocence... nearly had them in tears. You could tell for a moment as the camera cut from Stevie to a long shot of Hillary that Hillary was trying hard to keep it together, then it cut away to commercial/song or something. While many other rock icons would be singing their own praises, Stevie sings the praises of the not-yet-icons. Someone who raises other people up instead of trying to ensure their own place on the pedestal, you really gotta admire someone like that - I know I do! Stevie for American Idol judge!!!

No problem.I'm glad you catch it in time. Yes I agree 100 percent about Stevie doing a country album.I got to check out Sheryl's new album out .

Maybe all 3 should get together and do one. I love Sheryl's work on TISL .

Yes Stevie would love to have Hillary as her daughter .

Even her mom Linda Davis would love to hear that too.

Thanks to Reba for getting Linda going in the biz.

The thing about Rod is not even that he has bad songs. It's that he puts on a very sleazy, lounge lizard show that is not about expressing the music.

If it's lucrative to tour with country singers who bring in the crowds but yet still care about the ART of music, then Stevie should consider doing that in the future.
