I pulled your quote from the previous thread Michele about the line in "Not that Funny" that says " Your hear cause I say so"

Stevie said that about NTF in April 1980, for the Australian interview. Regarding, you're here cause I say so.

I think Stevie is talking about herself (not CAH) and is being honest and acknowledging (though not specifically naming herself) that the line (and song) is about her and that Lindsey brought her into Fleetwood Mac.


Here's what Lindsey said in The Sydney Morning Herald, February 18, 2004

"You know, he (Mick) asked me to join the group first," says Buckingham. "He didn't ask Stevie. But I said, 'We're kind of a package deal.' I like to remind Stevie of that now and then."
