Still lots of cool stuff. Thanks for sharing/getting back to me (us?? lol) I want to start taking pics of some of the stuff I find. I'm sure it's not brilliant or anything, but kind of random and nostalgic. I love 12" singles. Now I want to go turn on the record player

No problem .I just got another batch in today. I got to still go through them to see what I got in today.I'm falling behind on checking the last couple of batches. These are coming in milk crates full to the gills on each batch.

Now I probably can host a block party with all the tunes I got already.LOL...

I will update later what I got.

Been wanting to get some Blondie albums as well as extend my father's Siouxse & The Banshees albums (he only has the first, second and fourth albums on vinyl).
Which Carpenters albums do you have? I love them and have everything they've put out on CD and have picked up some on vinyl too. I'd love to have them all on both formats. On vinyl I have Ticket To Ride, Close To You, Now and Then, Horizon, Singles 69-73, Voice Of The Heart.

Of course the Holy Grail is a vinyl copy of Offering (the first album before it was re-issued as Ticket To Ride) - good luck!

I have Close To You, Carpenters, A Song for You, Now & Then and Singles '69-73. I started with Now & Then and worked backwards (currently looking for Ticket To Ride now). I had to buy Carpenters again because the first copy I bought was scratched and was skipping all over the place.

I love the Carpenters. They were one of my dads favorite groups. He loved Karen's voice.

In the meantime I've been getting loads of vinyl every other day from my friend down the road.. I'm now falling behind checking each album/12 inch singles out.

Not sure I ought to share this but we had Offering and other early Carpenters records as kids and they all got trashed. I remember taking a crayon and drawing on black vinyl because I liked the effect. I cut the pictures out of some LP sleeves too, some of the Hanna-Barbera cartoon ones I've found out sell for $50-100 these days.

Not yet but I did get Destiny's Child's Bootylicios "spelling?" 12 inch single. That went into my Stevie collection immediately since its not that beat and not worn out .

I got loads of house music of artists that I never heard of in the last few batches.

I have to post some names on here.Maybe some of you guys heard of them.

AAAAGHHHHHHH!!! This is why you can't have nice things!

Offering (not Ticket To Ride) would definitely be worth quite a bit of cash now. There weren't too many copies pressed with that title.

It could have been a discarded radio station promo, we had a lot of them, but I know it was Offering unfortunately because I was shocked later to find out it was rare.

I would have liked to have it now, and not to sell. Karen Carpenter's voice always makes me go all misty. I do remember thinking they were a married couple from the old LP covers though!

Some records were Canadian editions that were different, different photos or different track orders, sometimes different takes. I just found out a Canadian Beatles single is valuable, but we played the crap out of it even if it were still kicking around. It's the things like Grandpa Jones' Yodelling favorites which survived in pristine condition wouldn't you know!

Yeah, the marketing of the Carpenters was absolutely ridiculous. A&M have since said that they screwed it up. Richard has particular distaste for the hideous Close To You cover. On rocks in the rain, in formal evening wear, and Karen's dress is falling down!

If it was a discarded radio station promo then sorry to say that it may be worth even more lol

Some Duran Duran 12" singles oh, and a Taco dance mix of Cheek to Cheek. Luv<3<3<3
