Lady From the Mountains in IYD Doc

[blackmamba109]

During the Lori and Sharon segment of the documentary Dave has (what seems to be) a fairly recent version of Lady From the Mountains playing in the background.

Does anyone know if this is circulating or does anyone have any info on it?

it's a beautiful demo

Well, Lady From the Mountains is Moonlight, now. It seems to me they must have recorded the whole song but due to time, had to cut the final verse of LFTM ("you could use a dreamer," etc). What we were hearing were the a capella vocal tracks of the last verse that didn't make it onto the album version.

I wish that version was out there somewhere. I love that verse so much.

Me, too. That verse was the payoff for me in that song. What a disappointment that it isn't there.

It was, I can't listen to Moonlight without feeling a little disappointed.

"You could use a dreamer.
Somewhere on your side. And maybe.
If that woman can make you crazy.
Did she call out. Did she say
“Please save me…tonight"
