I don't think this is entirely fair. She wasn't asked about how her affairs affected other people. She was asked what the song was about, so that's the only thing she answered. It doesn't mean that the feelings of others weren't something she's ever thought about. Sex and lust make people do crazy/stupid things sometimes, but it doesn't mean there isn't a feeling of guilt in the mix. Humans are complicated creatures. And we really don't know what the nature of a lot of these marriages were. I highly doubt that these men who had affairs with Stevie were otherwise completely monogamous to their wives, if indeed they even had fully monogamous agreements in their marriages.
