She was moving slowly tonight, but not limping too noticeably.
So was Karen not around to break her fall?
Good to hear it's nothing serious.

I was worried she might of had a bad fall! I just hope she gets the help and takes the time she needs to recover fully!

This makes me smile. I'm not a Flames fan, but I just find this sweet. It makes Calgary feel less of an anonymous city on their tour, and I think that's great.

Glad you had a wonderful time, darkcat. And thanks for the report!

Thumbs up

Thank goodness she's okay, i remembered when I was on Twitter that night and everyone was worried as to why she was limping around. I didn't go to sleep til 4 am that night (yes, i pulled a Stevie)
My thought about to whole boot controvercy that's been going on FORVEER on here; I just wanna say that I'm kinda caught inbetween here. I agree with the people saying she is getting older and she does need to worry about her condition, OF COURSE i don't want her getting hurt, however i understand how the others can say she needs to fullfill her witchy hooker look :P I guess I tihnk as long as they were black and her outfit was all rhiannoned out I'm fine with the frankenboots. It's not like it still wasn't "Stevie", If i were to look at that outfit on it's own I would still say "Oh yeah, that's Stevie." Idk... that's just me.
btw: I absolutely LOOOVE the little cardigan she wore with that outfit!!! She looked sooo cute!

Default a little psychic

this is just a little bit creepy so I thought I'd share it. When I saw the Mac in NY I was watching Stevie walk across to the left side of the stage during GYOW and how Lindsey's guitar cord was right in front of her. She of course saw it but I got to thinking how awful it would be if one night she tripped on it and fell. Thankfully this didn't happen on stage but she did fall at some point, as she told the audience a few nights ago. Probably just a coincidence but it is a little weird how I was actually worried about her falling on stage for a few days after the show and then I hear this news.

Falls are scary. I'm glad she's alright and able to continue on.

Also slightly relieved the fall didn't happen on stage because that would have been bad.

For her safety .She should not be wearing those ultrahigh heal boots.I love her boots but her safety comes first.

She should cut the heal down or off like I did .They may look retarded but it will save her neck from getting broken.

The idiots with the cameras with the flash going off in her face a million times does not help either. Its blinding and could make her fall.

With 100's of wires on the stage .Its a major trip hazard. with high healed boots and getting blinded from camera flashes going off from every direction.

I agree with you. Something like a riding boot would look good.

Ideally, I would think you want something with a flat heel and the correct design for orthopedic support, but also a rubber sole to help absorb shock.

Stevie only had the platforms on her Reeboks because she doesn't want to look short. I don't think the height was necessary, but the shape of her "Frankenboks" and the rubber sole are probably what she should be in. The short boots she's rocking now are cute, but I don't know if they're the healthiest thing.

I know the show only lasts 2 hours, but standing for 2 hours is not the easiest thing in the world, especially not when you've got the heavy clothes on that Stevie wears and are trying to dance (or at least bounce and swing) for that time period.

She got to get something costumed made like all those boots shes got.

Now her knee is bothering her so shes got to be careful about everything.

I have friend that are the same height as Stevie and they probably agree with Stevie about worrying about being short.

I think my friend did wear those highrise shoes too in the day.

Tonight Mick said that Stevie tripped over her dog in the hotel room. Not even in the boots! He said it was pretty bad and they really thought they'd have to cancel a few shows, but she's tough! She twirled and everything tonight!

Thank Goodness she is OK, could of been a lot worse if she had broken her hip.. It's so easy to trip over on Small dogs they tend to hang around your feet all day long...

To Me Stevie as much as her clothing is a part of her,I will be happy if Stevie comes out in jeans and a t-shirt and a baseball cap and comfortable sneakers and still perform as good,Stevie is the artists it doesn't make a difference as long as she is there she can wear whatever she wants to me as long as she is comfortable wearing whatever she wants on stage I am fine with, Be glad we still have her here on earth with us and still able to perform how lucky we are. If you going to get mad at her for not twirling and not wearing her platform boots, I say if the boots are uncomfortable for her she should wear whatever she wants that is comfortable.I am at the shows to see Stevie not caught up in her signature clothing and platform boots love them on her like everyone else but she can wear whatever she wants that makes her comfortable I am happy as long as she is there I am there too.
