I'd be keen for them to add the song to the setlist, maybe as a final encore closer after Say Goodbye..? Then again, I won't actually get to see them on this tour so I guess my opinion don't matter!

Oh, no you didn't!

Actually, I'm also of the firm belief that the b/u vocals to "Sad Angel" are pre-recorded too.

That's why it sounds so fast on stage...Stevie and Lindsey have to keep up with the tape playing behind the curtain.

I love Christine. I just don't think she added much to the tour in 97. It
was great to hear her songs, but they were REALLY lacking energy. She was done and you could tell.
She went out on a high note - like R.E.M.

Keep those candelabras at bay!

Even if Lindsey does it solo, I would suggest letting Brett play the piano.

If he does another OMS, then ok he can play it.

What if they go to New Zealand? Would you go then? Because they probably will add some shows at the end.

Even if you go, that doesn't mean you have a say in It Takes Time.

^It'd be interesting to see them add it to the set. I think Sad Angel is catchy but I'm ambivalent about the song. It sounds like they didn't really "take a chance" with it but they did take a chance just having Lindsey and the piano - and that choice makes it interesting I think.

Also, it depends on where they play if they came to NZ... last time in '09 they played New Plymouth which is a good 5 hour drive from here and the gig was outside... so I just wasn't that keen. I dunno why they don't play Westpac Stadium or TSB arena here in Wellington... they'd have no problem selling out.

I love the song and would love to see both Lindsey and Stevie do it as a duet with piano.

I firmly believe there's no good or bad taste, but this It Take Time tune is kind of a disaster. What an odd choice to add to a four-song EP. What an even odder choice for Lindsey to sit down at the piano and play a very bland, generic arrangement on something that should have been on guitar. And, why the recycled lyrics and melody again? It's not lack of inspiration. We know the man is on a creative roll, so why do this?

Kind of a baffling choice all around.

Miss Fantasy would be a terrific addition to the setlist.
