When I found that cd in the store rack and I saw that "visionary" was actually on the sticker, I almost gagged. Overdoing it much? I'd like to visionary him.

Yes, we *know* what you'd like to do to him, Michele......

No, what I meant is I'd like to box his ears. I'm not saying he wasn't a visionary. I'm saying it's something you let other people say about you, rather than frequently repeat the fact that they did.

I was just having a little fun with ya.....

and we *still* know what you'd like to do to him after you box his ears....

(and totally agree about his using the visionary thing about himself. tsk, tsk.)

No, I would not really want to do that for the most part, but I do think he looks DELICIOUS around 1987. For instance, in the Seven Wonders video. When he goes by and Stevie strokes his hair, I do think, "Wow. He's like a strawberry sundae. Give me a spoon."

The way fans commented on the Boston show, I was thinking that Stevie no doubt wrote a poem and would eventually write a song about that, since she was in town so soon after the bombings and the vibe of the aftermath was still in the air.

and don't forget they were holed up in the hotel the whole next day when the town was shut down. they were there right during the thick of it.

You have New Orleans and Soldier's Angel being taken from the headlines and it will certainly be the same this time.

And the point made earlier that she has to experience life in between new music just to have something to write about is a good one. In IYD she talked about seeing Twilight in Australia, the rain and fireworks during the Italian vacation, etc. and it's clear that while some may see this tour as a wasted year, the experience itself -- the traveling, the excitement, the friction, even the tedium of it all, will actually fuel creativity in the long run, not just replenish everyone's wallet.

This. If you think about it, there are so many significant songs that were written about or were inspired by touring/traveling. "After the Glitter Fades," "Fall from Grace," "Everybody Finds Out," "Sweet Girl," "Juliet," "I Miss You," "Destiny Rules," etc. Indeed, she's not going to get a lot of compelling inspiration by sheltering in her Santa Monica aerie by the sea.

We should all, write our own versions of what we think the lyrics to Stevie inevitable Boston song will be. And just how much it will be about how the event affected Stevie nicks. And how often in interviews that shell mention how soon after the bombings the band played in Boston. Not now but probably in a year it'll be a big topic of conversation for her.

I feel pretty good...Mama is happy, healthy, and as energetic as shes' going to get. I truely believe that she wants to focus the next few years on her solo work. She knows time is moving fast, way fast. She seems to be enjoying the tour so far.... but I think she will make a mad dash to the studio/house on the Hill. She is anything but blah.....
"Blah!?" If you really need to she her as blah... think back to BTM, STREET ANGEL, TIMESPACE .....that was blah......she barely had a pulse.
Today......she's vibrant, inspired, busy, thin& loving it.
