I've been wanting Stevie or Fleetwood Mac to do an album with Jon since before SYW came out.

I wonder about Lindsey's specific inspirations for the lyrics of the new songs. Has anyone heard him talk about that topic? Thx!

He did mention "Sad Angel" and "Miss Fantasy" were about Stevie.

I'm very happy with this ep. The only thing I would have done different was in Without You, I would have made the guitars sound more grand. They sound too centered in the center channel mix. I wanted them to surround me like a warm blanket.

Yeah, I agree about the guitars on Without You. They are way too loud very poor balance with the vocals. Actually the production/mixing is not something I think is good. Guess Lindsey should be producing afterall?

It is a shame that Stevie didn't contribute one song to this EP. It just four Lindsey songs, not my cup of tea.

Normally it would be mine, but my hopes were not geared toward Lindsey solo. So a bit let down.

Oh, okay. Stevie wrote it before her Mac days. I'm listening to this again on youtube as I have no intention of downloading it or dealing with itunes.

Well why isn't her vocal the lead then? Is it meant to be a duet?

Random thoughts : They should have called this EP "Without Stevie". This is what I get for not buying Lindsey's last album. Overall I like this music. Lindsey's displays a lot of emotion which is what music should be about. If they can get Stevie and by some miracle Christine on board to record after this tour the result will be truly magical.

Thanks. I can't tell from listening as Lindsey's vocal seems louder with Stevie supporting.

curious what that translates to considering this is itunes only... if i remember correctly, Lindsey's SWS was #1 overall on amazon the day it came out, but was nowhere on itunes, which overall translated in billboard's #45 or something like that for that first week.

i still say Lindsey should advise people to just go download it right there, while introducing the song in concert
