It seems most people here are sorta liking "Sad Angel" - It's ok, my opinion is that it's pedestrian & generic. However, I do like the idea of a FM uptempo song, I guess you have to take the good with the bad. Overall i'm reserving my opinion until I hear the studio version. Also I'm not that excited about Miss Fantasy based on "Sad Angel". I'm looking forward to the new studio version of "Without You" most of all. I love the live versions I've seen on You Tube, Stevie's voice soars.

I agree. If there is a fourth song, it'll be a live one. It's well documented there won't be a Stevie song on this EP... she basically just put vocals on a bunch of Lindsey tracks. She doesn't really seem to want to commit any songs to Fleetwood Mac at this juncture. I believe Mick, Lindsey, and Stevie herself have all said as much in recent interviews. And no, I don't feel Without You is a Stevie song... it's an old Buckingham Nicks duet.

I don't think there'll be a Christine song (who are we kidding?), but she could have added something to one or more of the tracks (backing vocals? keyboard?)

Is Miss Fantasy going to be a Lindsey, or Stevie song? Cause if it's a 'Lindsey' song, then I think the fourth song will be a 'Stevie' song..

If there even IS a fourth song. If it's not a 'SN' song as the fourth one, then I think it will be laid out like so:

Sad Angel
Without You
Miss Fantasy
Sad Angel Live

Seems plausible enough.

We know that Stevie did not provide the band with any songs and only agreed to sing on two of Lindsey's songs. They've made this well known. I doubt they recorded a Stevie song in secret. "Miss Fantasy" is a Lindsey song.

But I kept thinking how in a few interviews Mick would say that Stevie might have sung on three songs. He wasn't giving a hard 2. It's like he knew about something that the other Macsters weren't talking about.

He did mention 2 or 3 a few times.

And he also mentioned the possibility of them working on a little more before the tour started, didn't he? I mean, I took it as just wishful thinking on Mick's part... but in reality Stevie has had plenty of time to throw a harmony part on a 3rd song of Lindsey's.

Being honest, I'm not really interested in hearing a bunch of Lindsey's Mac songs. If Stevie isn't gonna have some of her own songs, then I'm not interested.

It's the only one who produces new Fleetwood Mac material. So without him there was only a retro-act. So if you want new FM, you'll have to adjust. Lindsey is trying to keep the band alive. Give him credit for at least that.
