She has Sharon, Lori and a whole entourage of girlfriends. How is it a "boys club"? Not to mention, her solo bands have been almost all male too, so how is that different?

Maybe she wasn't getting her way when it came down to decisions that needed to be weighed between the 4 of them. Maybe..?

I don't think Stevie's backup singers and such get a lot of say in the studio though, they can't make a huge difference in that part of the equation.

[Just read this story on Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. I think they may be Stevie and Lindsey in disguise. Anyone ever see the four of them together??]

Jagger, Richards Disagree Over Likelihood of New Stones Album

The two leaders of The Rolling Stones seem to have differing opinions about when the band will start working on the follow-up to its last studio album, 2005’s A Bigger Bang.

In a recent interview with USA Today, Jagger said Stones fans just aren’t interested in hearing new material. "It would be nice to have a new album, but people don't like the new album when you play it onstage," he said. "They glumly look at you. 'OK, it will be over in a minute.' It's not a good excuse, but it's the truth and has to be said."

Guitarist Keith Richards, on the other hand, feels like the band’s upcoming tour would be the ideal time for the band to start banging out some new songs.

"The time to record a band is once they've been on the road a while so they're hot," he said in the same interview. "We'll think about that while we're doing this. The world needs more Stones records. So do I."

I suppose it's like a family when someone doesn't come around anymore. And those two were quite close, especially early on.

New Music Tuesday. No EP. Anyone surprised?

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

Well to be honest, no. But at this point I don't think it's the Mac's fault. iTunes and Apple are notoriously slow when it comes to getting everything set up for small-time releases and okaying artwork and stuff, so......not really surprised?

I'm surprised you said that. iTunes and Apple do not slow the process. They can post music faster than other digital networks, like Amazon. Check out this Mashable article that explains the process.

Honestly, I think FM is just a slow machine.

Only reason is I've heard a couple bands complaints about iTunes and Apple in general not to mention maybe there's more we don't specifically know like them wanting a date of release where there's not a lot of stiff competition? Who the hell knows, all I know is I want more of a response than "in a few days" before it becomes a few months.

So is Lindsey saying, "The EP's coming out in a few days..." at every concert?

Yep. Sort of like in '09 when he said "there's no new album...yet." We get the picture, Linds.

At this point they might say screw it altogether because the live versions of the new tunes are plastered allover Youtube.

Again I hope it gets release in any form.
