SAD ANGEL is AMAZING!!!
if it was going to be released on iTunes tomorrow, wouldn't there something on their site about it, stating it would be released on 4/9/13?

i suspect so, however horrible their management seems to be, they cannot drop the ball that bad. i don''t think it's gonna be tomorrow.

[All the news outlets are saying the new EP will be released this week, but I think they are going on what Lindsey said in concert and not on any distribution info they might have]

Fleetwood Mac to Release New Songs

By JAMES C. MCKINLEY JR.

Fleetwood Mac plans to release an EP of new songs in the near future, Lindsey Buckingham, the group’s lead singer and guitarist, said during a concert in Philadelphia on Saturday, according to Rolling Stone magazine. Introducing one of the songs during the show at the Wells Fargo Center, Mr. Buckingham said the group had gone into the studio last year and recorded several original tracks, calling the material “the best stuff we have done in a long time.” He said the band would release a few of the songs “in a few days,” then the group proceeded to play one of them, a mid-temp rock song called “Sad Angel.”

I was excited about it...now I'll probably just listen on You tube. I love Sad Angel but have heard it a bunch of times. STUPID marketing mistake. I would have bought it immediately. Now I'm not so sure.

What is the predicted tracklist? Without You, Sad Angel, Miss Fantasy, and, what? Sad Angel (Acoustic Version?) Stevie says it's their little 'baby album', so it must be coming in some form...right?

maybe My Mother's Rings?
or not. Because Dave said he was working on it with her. But it could've been a demo they were working on for FM... who knows

Two of the songs we've heard feature primarily Lindsey vocals so I would be surprised if there wasn't more than 3. That being said: i still bet we will never get this EP.

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

4 songs max, I bet. And, Lindsey is full of crap. " a few days " will turn into a month or two, then it will be released, hah.

I'm guessing Without You will be on there, even though Stevie swears it should be a part of the Buckingham Nicks re-release that will never, ever happen.

One of the songs we've heard features the two of them equally. And the two new songs they recorded are both written by Lindsey so of course they're going to have Lindsey on vocals. Those are the ones we know of. I would love it if they had more, but they never mentioned any others.

I don't think they would talk it up in concert and then just never release it.

No, she actually said they were going to save it for that but decided to "go ahead & let it be" a FM song... that's what she said...

If the NY Times is right and the EP can be downloaded from their rickety website, what do you want to bet that we will have major problems?

Five of us will get it and the rest of us will get some kind of downloading error message.
