Default Stand Back is in the setlist. Ugh.

I've always felt that Stand Back is out of place in a Fleetwood Mac show.
It's probably the only solo Nicks song that just doesn't fit.
Call me crazy, but I think it ruins the energy of an FM show. Sort of like shoving a reminder of the 80's into a timeless setlist.
I wish they would lose it -- so many really great amazingly crafted songs that would be better toward the end of a show.

Even Anabelle Lee or Soldier's Angel.
But Stand Back - tired, and overcooked.

I think Stevie just wants to include a song that's upbeat and danceable and she doesn't have a lot of those with Fleetwood Mac so I can kind of understand it. Of course in my dreams she could replace it with "Destiny Rules" or "Running Through The Garden" which were great live during the SYW tour until they were stupidly cut.

I'm definitely the minority here but i'm actually pumped for SB to be in the set. Admittedly, I can't stand that song (the studio version). It's one of my least favorite SN tracks. I'd rather listen to Silver Girl and all of Street Angel on repeat than play Stand Back.
But seriously it is so much fun live. It's one of my favorite parts of any Stevie show i've been to. It's upbeat and fun and your heart races and she's dancing and twirling and breakin' out the Stand Back shawl. I just love it live. Don't know why. I was actually bummed that i'd be seeing Stevie in 2 days and wouldn't have SB. This was like majorly exciting to me.

AMEN TO THAT !!! I have worshipped Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac for the better part of 30 years. In my opinion, "Stand Back" represents one of the artistic low points of her career. I've never liked the song....and 30 years later the song IS tired and overcooked. I think they need to give it a rest.

MOREOVER, "Stand Back" has NO PLACE in a Fleetwood Mac set list. Honey, it is ME who needs a little sympathy when I'm forced to sit through that song for what feels like the 100th time. But, hey, when "Stand Back" comes on at a Fleetwood Mac show, at least its my chance to visit the restroom and refill my adult beverage. I might as well be "standing in the drink line".............

They only do it because it gives Stevie an "upbeat" song. She doesn't have many high energy Mac song. Only problem is, SB is not that high energy anymore either.

SB live is a raucous cacophonous bawling and braying hot mess. "shudder"

^Hmm. I prefer them not to do Don't Stop if Christine remains MIA. Same for Stop Draggin'... it ain't the same without Petty. Besides, they were doing Stand Back since the Tango tour... that one kinda has a history with the Mac at least.

I'd rather hear them try out "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" rather than "Stand Back" again. Not that I've ever been to a Mac show before so I'm not maxed out or anything personally, but SB isn't one of my favorite songs to begin with.

But I'm glad for those who love it, hopefully there's something for everyone.
