As a fan, my focus now is enjoying whatever new music they can provide, not attending augmented concerts with ancient set lists and paying ridiculous ticket prices.

I think they should do a mix of some hits, new songs and songs we've never heard live before. That way everyone gets something they want for the ridiculous over priced tickets.

Well, I also think that if they pull a song out of the setlist it would have to be one of hers if they are adding one of hers. LB isn't going to take out one of his songs. She knows better. They still have that power struggle. Curfews aren't an issue. I even think Lindsey would like to mix it up but she likes being comfortable.

It's too bad she doesn't want to take any risks because they can really play some gems we've never heard live before. Why wouldn't Lindsey take out one of his songs? I know it's because of the power struggle but he's in a band and when you're in a band you'll have to compromise. She does.

I wouldn't waste a cent on todays crap as everybody knows.

Radio does not care about the older artists so they wont get airplay to promote their new tunes for fans can buy their new records.

Yes except Stevie doesn't get the fact that her fans will still buy her new music. Sure, she doesn't have the 'mainstream' appeal to the general audience of music listeners anymore but she still has a MASSIVE core group that support her and got her a #6 debut in the first place when she clearly could've missed the Top 40 completely if it was all that bad.

Hell, even Eric Clapton is still releasing music so she has no sympathy from me. Even The Beach Boys for crying out loud, with ALL their drama, released at least a new album, even if it was pretty bad in my opinion. But still, for their fans, something is better than nothing. She needs to get a swift kick in the ass and realize her hey days are behind her, she needs to make music just for the freedom, creativity and love of making music (like Lindsey) and just get on with it.

The whole stigma of "should we/shouldn't we" with music from her and the Mac recently has just really been ticking me off and I don't know if it's just because I want new music from them this badly or if it just rubs me the wrong way that their heads are so clearly stuffed up their own butts when it comes to releasing stuff.
