Lol I was sitting here calculating her age in my head as well..I'm going "I could've swore I just commented the other day about how she would be 65.." then I realized Oprah made the error - and this wasn't filmed 3 years ago!

i heard that Kim kept Matthew away from Stevie, but never that Matthew wanted nothing to do with her. i thinnk Stevie said it in that infamous Q interview

Well, I was about to say, "There goes Stevie's 'And I haven't seen coke since!' spiel out the window..."

But then I realized that even if it was her, they probably weren't scraping ACTUAL cocaine around that table.. Duh.

Maybe it was because of this post that I had it rolling around in the back of my head.

Oh definitely..but if it is her, I thought about how that must've been odd for her to do and bring back some memories..

I don't think it was her scraping the "coke", way too dangerous because,even if it is flour or whatever, it could be a trigger.

This show was just taped.Where did Oprah get Stevie's age.She said 62.

Yes Landslide is one Oprah's favorite Stevie tunes.Thats probably the reason it was played in the background.

Still with the "breakfast room" after all these years.

I thought the show was really good and we did get new details even about the stories we already knew.

I wondered how she thought she would have so much time with Barbara left when Barbara fundraised for AHI due to her heart problem, also had ephysema for years and was in her eighties. So, how could she think she would have her around forever?? But then she said that the women in her family live so long, so maybe that's why. I know my mother is in her seventies and I always worry about her mortality. I guess since my father and grandmother died, I think about it more than I would have before.

Anyway, I wondeer if the women in Stevie's family are mentally sound in their own age.

To be poor, it sounded like Lindsey and Stevie rented a pretty big place in their youth. I mean, it had a basement.

I like her mentioning her dad liked DLMDA and it being in the letter she wrote to them back home.
