Default SPOILER - Stage Design for 2013

Taken from facebook....

I wont judge until I see it in action, but I'm not impressed so far. Looks less exciting than the 2009 set up and a mile away from 2003/2004.

It's hard to tell and I'm no expert, I think it's pretty close to complete. Maybe certain parts move and shift like they did for '09.

Wow...no one here is ever satisfied. I am just happy I am a fan of a band that is still touring. We could be on the Eddie Money boards talking about the Geico commercial!

Stage design and Fleetwood Mac.

You make a great point! Nothing like some perspective.

Personally, as long as I can see Lindsey and hear the band, I don't really care what the stage looks like.

The pic in this thread definitely doesn't represent a complete product. Those black brackets on top of the background curtains are definitely meant to hold something. Most likely they are for photo/video projection screens.

I still hope they bring back their famous moon/tree background of yore one of these days.

I think it is going to look great. Hard to judge just with the hardware and no lighting, but it has a classy feel to it. Curious how the 2 pieces in the center work, screen, video monitor or just lighting?
At any rate can't wait for Columbus!

I'm not saying that they should have inflatable pigs and confetti cannons around the stage, but given the price of tickets, you would think they would put some investment into the production of their live show. Sure, it's one thing if they are the kind of band that is loosey-goosey with the setlist from night to night. But their setlists are totally etched in concrete; they can definitely put some technical elements into the show. Or do something completely different for them, e.g., a second "B" stage, lasers, a string section... a holographic Christine McVie . There are plenty of cool things they can do without adversely impacting the integrity of their musical performance.
