Absolutely true. SOTM is too atmospheric a song to introduce first. They need to just launch into it and let it take hold of the audience. But for IDWTK, I think they should give a little background on it, going all the way back to BN. That would be great. It would be as fun as the Gyspy intro Stevie was doing before.

Also, since Rumours is already out, it's too late for that, but I think it would have been fun if they tried to promote the re-issue by going on a few talk shows and performing IDWTK, the forgotten nugget from that classic.

I still think that IDWK would be an awesome opener. Crickets...blackout....one big, huge crash from Mick and then the twopart harmony kicks in.

That works. I think it would be much more effective than Monday Morning was the last time.

I wouldn't count my chickens too soon. While they may be rehearsing "Sisters of the Moon", it is not unusual for songs that are not working out well to be dropped. Time will tell.

I also wouldn't put it past Stevie to say she's gonna perform SOTM just to sell more tickets only to later tell a reporter she couldn't keep up with the energy level. However in this case I really do believe that she is gonna perform this song on this tour.

I think she's committed to the song, too. You know how Stevie loves the number 3. This will be her third Tusk song that's be recently unearthed. Beautiful Child in 2003, Storms in 2009 and now Sisters in 2013. It all makes perfect sense.

But Sara was unearthed in '04 after a 16 year + absence. So this would make the 4th Tusk song.

The gap for "Sara" was 18 years - 1986 to 2004. There was some hear'say that she did it once on the BTM tour, but nobody has ever been able to confirm it.

I would actually DIE if "Sara", "Sisters of the Moon" and "Angel" were ALL in the set. I. WOULD. DIE.

Having said that, the 04 and 09 versions of "Sara" kind of bored me. It's my favourite song of all time (my favourite live version is the 81 HBO special version), but the recent performers have been kind of lacking, apart from Soundstage.

No, it's 16 years; "Sara" was performed in London in 1988 (a bootleg exists). I'm not sure if this was a one-off, or whether it continued throughout the European leg of the TITN tour.

"Sara" is honestly not my favorite song live; it's one of those two-chord songs (ala "Dreams") that really requires a specific type of production that can only be rendered in the studio. When you remove all of the "haunting" effects that make the Tusk version so memorable, the somewhat banal simplicity of the song just does not hold up under the scrutiny of a basic live arrangement, especially when it goes on for 10+ minutes.

It's interesting so many people feel this way now. Ledge members pleaded SO long & hard for Sara to come back. Personally, I think 21st century Sara utterly trumps 70s/80s Sara. To me, the modern Sara fixes what made the original translate to stage so poorly. They fixed the pacing/progression of the song. To me, the older versions were just so slow & wandering. Utterly boring. But I think the modern versions are pretty fantastic. Plus, oddly enough, Stevie's current voice seems to work better for the song onstage, too.

I guess I am alone in totally despising Angel, too. Now that is a boring, wandering, anticlimactic song. I'd much rather hear Sisters Of The Moon with Beautiful Child & Sara. I wish I could add Storms to that list, but Stevie just couldn't make it work live, IMO. Stevie's voice just wasn't up for the task.

I think she's committed to it too. She started talking about it in a way that had me thinking it was confirmed even before it really was. I think it's been in her head to do it for months now and is already a fait accompli. Jinx.

Well, they finally listened to us fans.

I still don't think we'll get many of the non-hit songs we want.
