Ah well, c'est la vie. Part of the thing for me is also style, I may seem stuck in the past but a lot of the contemporary bands I really like are probably closer in style to earlier FM than later FM. So sorry to Mick Just the way the cookie crumbles. At least I can do easily without the hits, a concert of just deep cuts can easily make me extremely happy. |

This is a fantasy set list assuming Christine is back and including the Top 40 songs that you've asked for. This proves difficult because Lindsey didn't have as many Top 40 hits with the band, so we'll have to pull more "deep cuts" from his material to give equal stage time. This leaves out some "deep cuts" from the girls that I want to hear in favor of minor hits like "Love in Store".....I am also limiting to the 24 slots that you indicated..... To completely shake up the set list, they should open with "Go Your Own Way", it's a solid hit that will get the casual crowd on their feet and open with some energy. I'm giving "Chain" and "Landslide" a rest for the first time in years.
Go Your Own Way Think About Me Dreams Seven Wonders Blue Letter Say You Love Me (original electric version) Little Lies UNPLUGGED SEGMENT/ALL MEMBERS FRONT & CENTER Tusk (new unplugged jam version/Chris on Accordian/Stevie on Cowbell) Hold Me Honey Hi Crystal (Lindsey/Stevie share lead) You Make Loving Fun Gypsy Over My Head Walk A Thin Line Rhiannon Love In Store I Know I'm Not Wrong Sara Everywhere Big Love (jamming loud electric version/BIG BIG version) ENCORE Sisters of the Moon Don't Stop 2nd ENCORE Songbird |

all-hits list instead of all deep-cuts list? love it!of course, if you are counting The Chain that was never a single, or Songbird, as a hit, then you would have to do the same with NGBA and Second Hand News. i guess checking amazon or itunes downloads would give you the best idea of what songs have become hits or have the most staying power over the years... but i love it that you used Walk A Thin Line instead - i don't need to repeat that hearing that would make me extremely happy! ![]()

I would love to hear Walk A Thin Line live, but what I really what (and don't hate me Elle) is for Stevie to sing the lead vocal. Ever since she sang that snippet of it during The Meldrum Tapes interview in 1986, I've wanted her to cover it. Sorry...

![]() that would ruin the song right there and cure me from ever even thinking of going to see FM live. of course, they can do that for you in AUS, as long as i get Lindsey's version here in the US. ![]()

Second Hand News
IDWK Chain Sorcerer Murrow NTF GDW ISA (intro)/Tango... Freedom Go Insane (electric) Miss Fantasy That's Alright NGBA Crystal Twisted IKINW Hold Me Without You California Dreaming Blue Letter encores: Sisters Tusk GYOW Frozen Love I know I'll get the rotten tomato for this setlist, but I think it *could* work. Hold Me has not been performed in 30 yrs, so to me it is a deep cut. And the covers..well they are just damn good songs. I don't even care for Sorcerer solo, but this was a toss up b/w Crying In The Night...which to unpopular opinion here, I think a few BN songs should get credit. ![]() oh damn, and I didn't even include Thrown Down. If Chris were with them, than the set would change drastically....how can CM perform and we NOT hear "sweeeeet wunderful you". I also fancy a real hard Rn'R show with only 2ballads. ![]() |

Hahaha! Seriously, I love that little excerpt of Stevie doing "Walk A Thin Line" and I would pay good money to hear it in full if it was to ever eventuate... but then again, I've wanted Stevie to sing just about every good song I've ever heard at one point or another.

I think the point of this thread is not only to pick non top 40 hits but largely others that aren't major concert staples. So that's the direction I'm going here.
Here you go.... Non Chris Setlist. World Turning I don't want to know Save me a Place Can't Go Back Angel That's All for Everyone Think About Me Long Distance Winner Steal your heart away Cryin in the Night What's the world Coming to I know I'm not wrong Thrown Down Frozen Love Encore Crystal Tango Chris Setlist World Turning I don't want to Know Spare me a Little of your love That's all for everyone Crystal Think About Me Angel Come a little bit closer What's the world coming to Isn't it Midnight Cryin in the NIght Honey Hi I know I'm not wrong Thrown Down Frozen Love Encore Tango Why |
