This is either going to be absolutely amazing, and produce a load of "why the hell did they ever take it out of their set in the first place?!" posts.

Or it's gonna suck. I'm hoping for the former, I can totally picture Stevie rocking it even with her modern voice.

And be prepared for it to not sound fantastic at first. As the tour goes on, I'm sure it will become phenomenal.

Either that or it'll get dropped.

I'm so happy SOTM will be performed on this tour. I just can't wait for opening night in Columbus.

I think Sisters Of The Moon is going to evolve in the vein that Gold Dust Woman evolved. Gold Dust Woman is far more vocally chaste & restrained these days, but it's still a highlight of any Mac/Stevie show. The delivery of the song is totally different each tour, but the impact doesn't change. It's still dark, dramatic, atmospheric, & spooky. I love every iteration of Gold Dust Woman, and I expect to feel the same way about Sisters Of The Moon.

The only good thing about this production.

I totally get what you're saying and agree As long as people aren't expecting full on wild Mirage-tour-style-vocals from Stevie, I think this song will surprise. I can't wait to hear it!

Yup. A beautiful highlight of that album, a sonic wonderland. I have long been completely puzzled by the hate some have for it, along with the adoration of the half-baked screaming mess of the ancient demo.

Exactly...I'm certain it will be extraordinary but in an entirely new way. I know the spirit of the song will still shine through!

No way will it get dropped, Stevie will nail it. Im hoping the US audience goes nuts, so this awesome song stays in their setlist for when they hit Oz

I'm totally with you on that. The weird thing is, that people over here blame Lindsey for ruining SMile At You. I don't understand that. He chose for a light- dense guitararrangement, with lots of room for basslines. And they KILL. ofcourse that's all Johns achievement, but It's the arranger that let him have his Spotlight. I think the whole approach adds to the song. If it sounds colder than the pianodemo, then that is due to production, playing AND singing. She doesn't sing it as heartfelt as twenty years before. And the production and arrangement fits to what it is at that moment.
