50+ New IYD Screenings! Toronto Q & A, April 15 - Page 3

Long Beach, CA now on sale. They originally were going to go on sale at midnight March 15. I just checked again this morning and was able to purchase them.

So I'm going April 2nd in San Diego and then again on the 7th in the "LBC" as Snoop Dogg likes to call it.

Can't wait!!!!!!!

I'm so excited for this doc! I'm planning on driving from Buffalo to see it, but it seems advance tickets can only be purchased in person, and a half hour before the first show. I could be misreading the info on the little.org website, so if anyone hears differently, please post

The LA screening is on March 31. According to the Landmark web site, "Stevie Nicks will appear in person at The Landmark." Reserved seating tickets are on sale now and will go fast!

I thought my eyes were deceiving me when I saw this! Finally throwing LA an appearance bone after a very dry 2012. I got my tickets. Love that it's reserved seating too.

Can't believe I'm seeing Stevie on Easter Sunday!!

I haven't had time to read these posts thoroughly or look at the website very carefully, but can anyone tell me if the screenings are just the opening nights of a longer run, or is the only chance to see it on the nights listed here in this thread?

Most theaters are showing it on April 2 - one night only. The Long Beach venue, so far, is showing it on two nights. I'm starting to doubt whether there will be a DVD release. It may not be profitable for the distributor that agrees to pick it up, whoever that may be. IYD seems more like a hardcore fan doc than something that might have mass appeal, like Sound City, which already has DVD and Blu-ray releases. I hope these latest screenings generate some buzz, but it's doubtful.

I'm glad I got to see it last October in Pleasantsville NY which was a hour drive from here in Wallyworld.

I wish there was a showing in Springfield or Northampton, Ma. But Pittsfield. I don't think so buddy. Now if Stevie was going to be there too, well that's another story.
