Has anyone ever intruduced her to Billy Joel, Barry Manilow, etc.?
They are talented inger/songwriters, extraodinary performers and baby boomers close in age. Just wondering. |

I suspect she'd have better luck with Billy Joel.

Barry Manilow.
![]() Seriously, though. Let's assume Manilow isn't gay. Is there anything about his personality that would suggest Stevie as a good match for him? Michele |

One thing i've noticed about Stevie is when she is dating somebody, nobody knows it. I remember her mentioning she had a 1 year relationship with a guy half her age during The Dance. And another guy in the early 2000's when the Dixie Chicks covered Landslide and he was so jealous of the huge check from it, that they broke up. She also mentioned in the early 2000's how she recently dated an ex of hers. So there's 3 different relationships right there that we now know happened, yet during all of those years she maintained that she was single. And even though now that we know they happened, we still don't know who these people even were.
Stevie obviously does not like the public to know her private life. And she's pretty good at keeping it under wraps evidently. |

Matchmaker Matchmaker make me a match . . . when I think of Barry Manilow, I never thought of Stevie as the catch. But maybe you're on to something. Get away from the Lindsey, Don, Joe types . . . how about Barry with Stevie? Both like dogs Both play the piano (one plays quite well) Both are friends of Bette Midler (maybe she can help out in this matchmaking) Both like to dress up on stage Stevie wrote: Smile At You; Barry wrote: I Can’t Smile Without You Stevie played in Vegas; Barry played in Vegas Stevie wrote: Outside The Rain; Barry wrote: I Made It Through The Rain Stevie recorded some Christmas Songs; Barry recorded some Christmas Songs. Barry wrote the jingle I Am Stuck On Bandaids. Stevie once wore a bandaid. Barry appeared on Oprah; Stevie appeared on Oprah (maybe OPRAH can hook them up) Barry had a hip replacement; Stevie had hip pain. Barry wrote: I Write The Songs That The Whole World Sings; Stevie wrote Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For YOU Barry wrecked his RangeRover in a car crash; Stevie crashed a friend’s car. Both donated large amounts of money to Hurricane Katrina relief funds. (they are generous people) Who knows. ![]() ![]() |

It tickles me because I just read an article going over the comparisons between JFK and Abraham Lincoln today and they debunked some of the urban myths (like there's no evidence that Lincoln really had a secretary named Kennedy). I bet you could take any two people and link up the similarities in their lives quite convincingly. Michele |

Other than that, he does look like someone Stevie could go for. As far as General Hospital singers/actors go, I kind of missed Rick. I was there for Jack Wagner though. Michele |
