What would your setlist of 24 non-top-40 songs look like for 2013? How would it change if Chris were back on stage too?
Your list must exclude: Over My Head Rhiannon Say You Love Me Go Your Own Way Dreams Don't Stop You Make Loving Fun Tusk Sara Think About Me Hold Me Gypsy Love in Store Big Love Seven Wonders Everywhere Little Lies |

Would the 24 include the 3 new songs?

for example, Think About Me, Hold Me, and Everywhere have never really been FM staples live. conversely, would you call The Chain a deep cut? or a LB staple ISA that he rarely doesn't perform live.

I was going to edit my original post- you guys are good
![]() You can add whichever songs you want as an encore, and your list does NOT have to include the three new songs. The list is just their top-40 charting songs. I would say anything that has not been a top-40 hit is good to go on this list, even if it is one they perform already. But if you want to bend the "rules" a little, go for it!! ![]() |

in no particular order (too lazy to think about sequencing when there's no chance this type of setlist will ever happen):
Lindsey (9): Walk a Thin Line What Makes You Think You're the One Murrow Turning Over Bleed to Love Her Peacekeeper Second Hand News Come I'm So Afraid The Ledge / Eyes of the World (since these are each just 2-min songs) The Chain Stevie (8): Twisted Sisters of the Moon Angel Everybody Finds Out - may need to be replaced with Red Rover in the world where only my wishes matter ![]() Destiny Rules I Don't Want To Know Gold Dust Woman Silver Springs new songs (2): Sad Angel Miss Fantasy solo (4): In Our Own Time That's The Way Love Goes You May Be The One Everybody Loves You note i'm trying to be somewhat balanced in having about equal number of SN and LB songs . if i was really honest and had it may way i would replace EFO and IDWTK with 2 LB songs. ![]() Chris' songs i'd like to hear the most are actually among her top 40 songs, so that would be hard for me. EDIT: i don't know what to throw out, i guess it would be EFO (considering i see that others don't really care about the balance in the # of the songs between songwriters), since i really want to hear Red Rover live too! ![]()

In a world where everyone's voices are miraculously amazing, nobody's happiness counts but mine, and everything under the sun is rehearsed. Although I kind of ordered Stevie's list roughly by how hard they might be for her now, from easiest to hardest.
STEVIE SONGS (10) Landslide - In case of Christine, replace with Why. Beautiful Child/Storms Silver Springs That's Alright Angel Fireflies Destiny Rules Gold Dust Woman Straight Back Sisters of the Moon/Smile At You (angry version) LINDSEY SONGS (10) Never Going Back Again Say Goodbye The Ledge Second Hand News/Station Man Miranda I Know I'm Not Wrong Can't Go Back/Empire State Blue Letter World Turning - In case of Christine, replace with Homeward Bound/Believe Me. I'm So Afraid OLD SONGS AND CURIOSITIES (4) Green Manalishi (Lindsey vocals) Hypnotized (Stevie vocals) Frozen Love California Dreamin' ENCORE (1/2) The Chain - In case of Christine, add Never Forget Tonight.

"Everywhere" was a staple since its release whenever Christine's toured with the band.

wow, we all like and would go with such different song selections!! i think this thread was a great idea; however looking at lists so far, i think i'd dislike every single one of them even more than what FM probably will perform... i'm sure many others must feel the same about my list.
![]() i'm also surprised nobody seems to have any interest whatsoever in hearing new songs! maybe SN and Mick are right and besides casual audience many FM diehards don't care about hearing something new either? ![]() however, the list we compiled when everybody proposed just 6 deep cuts and we added the ones suggested the most to the must-play and new songs i wouldn't mind at all.

Well, I mentally tacked the three new songs on to my list even though that brings the total into really unrealistic territory (27 songs + encore). But I'm curious to hear those. As for SYW material, I don't want to hear most of it as much as I want to hear other rarities and that album's 10 years old by now anyway, so it's not exactly new either. I do like "Destiny Rules" (and think it's apropos for this "ending chapter" thing) and "Miranda", and the earlier version of "Smile At You", and "Say Goodbye", but the others I can wait for solo tours or whatever. SYW always sounded like two solo records smushed together for me anyway.
I could live without "Landslide" and "World Turning" which would give me 25+encore including the new songs, assuming there's no Christine. Maybe "Silver Springs" and "Can't Go Back" could go too. That'd be a total of 24 including the encore: 2 "historical" B&N songs, 3 "historical" Mac songs, 2 FM 75' songs, 3 Rumours songs, 4 Tusk songs, 1 Live '80 song, 2 Mirage songs, 4 SYW songs, and 3 new songs. Hard to put down more new songs if I don't know of any that exist yet. |

new songs would be just the songs that we've never heard so far, imo. SYW songs would count as deep cuts, all of them except Peacekeeper and SYW which charted, with former being in top 100 (#80 or something?) and latter not even charting on the general chart. i love Destiny Rules. Miranda is in the same category as Tango to me, i can take it or leave it but rather not pick either of these with so few spots to fill. i think original Smile At You demo was rocking, but there's probably a reason that SYW version is as blah as it is, and if they cannot even reproduce it in studio anymore, they probably can't on stage either... but i'd love to be proven wrong. demo and SYW version are like night and day, and SYW version bores me. Say Goodbye i can never say enough bad things about, and you all had a chance to hear it during SYW tour, plus there is both Soundstage and LiB live recording to document it. so i'd much rather hear something that has not been done before instead (or something that i love like Come or BTLH ).agree that World Turning should go - it's been done to death, although i do love that song (other than way-too-long drum solo). of the 3 new songs, i am somewhat curious how new version of Without You sounds, but considering we are already familiar with the song, that would not be my pick of the "new" song to hear in concert. i like the way you divided your list and also the way you summarized it above... i should look up what all i have represented... but i'm sure it will be mostly Tusk and SYW as they are both my favorite FM albums and full of never performed deep cuts.

ok so i have:
5 Tusk songs, 6 SYW songs, 4 Rumours songs, Mirage and FM 1 song each, 2 new songs, 4 solo songs from 2011 albums, plus Twisted and Silver Springs, wherever they belong. comparing to Redbird's: 2 "historical" B&N songs, 3 "historical" Mac songs, 2 FM 75' songs, 3 Rumours songs, 4 Tusk songs, 1 Live '80 song, 2 Mirage songs, 4 SYW songs, and 3 new songs seems that we are actually close in numbers for songs per album, except instead of historical songs i'd rather hear most recent solo songs (unpopular opinion i know, but FM members did say in recent interviews they are planning to do those so i ran with it!). plus i think we mostly picked completely different songs from each of the albums! ![]() ![]() Tusk - 5 songs: Walk a Thin Line What Makes You Think You're the One The Ledge Sisters of the Moon Angel SYW - 6 songs: Murrow Turning Over Bleed to Love Her Peacekeeper Come Everybody Finds Out - may need to be replaced with Red Rover in the world where only my wishes matter ![]() Destiny Rules Rumours - 4 songs: Second Hand News The Chain I Don't Want To Know Gold Dust Woman White Album - 1 song: I'm So Afraid Mirage - 1 song: Eyes of the World (since these are each just 2-min songs) Twisted Silver Springs new songs - 2 songs: Sad Angel Miss Fantasy solo - 4 songs: In Our Own Time That's The Way Love Goes You May Be The One Everybody Loves You
