Philadelphia show question...

Apparently due to a "glitch" in the online ticketing system, I now do not have tickets for the Philadelphia show at the Wells Fargo center.

As this has never happened to me before, does anyone know if seats tend to get released week of/day of the actual show?

I'm trying to decide if I should grab some now to ease my mind (wickedly insane prices online), or wait it out and hope for some to still get released....

In 2009, tickets in the first 10 rows were released 2 weeks before the show. As for 2013, no one is buying those insanely priced Platinum tickets-one would hope they go back into the ticket pool the day of the show.

I haven't bought any tickets yet. I'm hoping day of show, which I've never done. This Philly show is the most expensive I've ever seen.

Thanks! I feel a bit better now. I have never run into this in my life. I will try closer to the show. Was hoping they'd hit something in Atlantic City, but doesn't look like that's going to happen.

Maybe we'll all get lucky and get great seats!

I hope a AC show pops up there.I love going down there.Probably in the Boardwalk Hall where they played in 2009.

How horrible. I actually bought my only ticket (so far) for Philly...through Mick's VIP thing (not the huge private plane one, just the regular--show up early and grovel at my feet one).

But, I've been to Philly quite a few times and, yes, they tend to release really good seats the closer you get to the show. Start looking every day...with multiple searches. That's how I usually get them. But, I'm a pitbull when it comes to buying tickets. I have been known to compulsively search 50 times a day. I think I was just tired of the idea and paid the extortion money to Mick instead;-)

Skip, I believe the tickets for MSG are the highest in price.

The Comcasttix ticket deity must have heard me-the Platinum seats for Philly have gone down in price.

Holy cats said the kitty.Look at those tix prices.

All tix should be under $125.Thats nuts for those high prices.Maybe the fans should start boycotting concerts.Also you got to add the BS service charges on top of those inflated prices.That wont happen with me with FM and Stevie shows.

I guess the promoters will take a good chunk out of take plus the venue takes their cut for using it. The crew will take their cut for setting up the equipment and carting off.fuel for the trucking to each show and it goes on.At the end they probably divide in 4 whats left for Mick,Stevie,Lindsey and John.

I live in the Philadelphia area and am going through the same thing. I even know somebody at 102.9 WMGK (classic rock station) and even they weren't given any tickets or meet-and-greet passes. The ticket prices are crazy. I guess I am going to wait as well. I would rather have bad seats than pay those crazty prices.
