Exactly. A lot of this can be figured out from Stevie lyrics (and Lindsey's, as Michele has already pointed out). I think this topic is at least briefly covered on each collection of Stevie songs since The Dance.

![]() Seriously, what was going on during the Dance tour! From "You May Be the One:" And then there was the kiss Right out there in the universe How did that happen No, it could not have been worse You forgot yourself It could not have been worse You broke my heart You broke my heart This video seems very related to those words?- fast forward to 5:25 Seems like there were so many ultra emotional moments (skip to 5:00): ![]() |

That Silver Springs ^ clip. They did something like that all the time, but when the tour started, they did SS more like they did it on the dvd. Then, as the tour progressed, Stevie would back away from Lindsey more and he would follow her over more, til John literally had to move from his usual position to avoid them.
That GYOW is kind of different from the other shows, because Stevie usually wouldn't be way across the stage when he came to kiss her. She'd usually be standing right next to John. She moved. That's why I wish I could see the end of all tours, because things seem to get more emotional for those last shows and they seem to be going through things that weren't there in the other shows. Routines break. Michele |

For me, this kind of unmeasured speculation feels like tabloid fodder; creating a salacious reality show that over-dramatizes and casts judgement on their private lives ( the abortion issue, for example). However, there is no denying the interest in their deep, complex alchemy. So I understand the crazy assumptions. In an interview, Stevie speculated that if she didn't break up with Lindsey, they could be married and have children. Since that ship has sailed, she might be going after the next best thing -- his son. She probably already took his virginity. Because she's too old to bear children, her friend Vanessa Carlton could be the surrogate. She can't be a rock and roll lady and mother at the same time, so I bet she's going to choose what matters most -- her career. She can have a substitute fill in while she's pursuing her muse - traveling, socializing, performing, recording. Maybe Sheryl Crow or Laurie Nicks. It would be so cool to have Buckingham Nicks baby! Maybe then they will honor the baby by finally re- releasing the album -- "deliver it" on the same day of the birth! That would really boost the sales!
