I just say that it these recordings have a very special position in all the recordings he did the last 25 years. The simple suggestion of repurposing may be the "normal way of things in his life", it Does NOT acknowledge the focus and idea of these recordings, that seem to be a pretty unique set, just because of the fact that they are written and recorded in the ghost of what he thinks, she thinks that is typical FM.
THAT, is the reason Why I want to hear them, with her on it, because they were meant to have her on it, That has not been the case on anything of his songs that ended up on SYW, with maybe the openingtrack as an exception.
Whatever.

You stated earlier in this thread that Lindsey, Mick & John should still release them as Fleetwood Mac songs, even without Stevie's participation. I didn't get the sense that the inclusion of Stevie's voice was as important to you as the songs being released in general. As such, I was making the case for re-purposing them as solo tracks, if she decides not to record.
I know Lindsey envisioned them as Fleetwood Mac songs with Stevie singing on them -- but, in my view, if she
doesn't ultimately sing on them, then all bets are off as to which artist name gets attached to them ("Fleetwood Mac" or "Lindsey Buckingham").
