I love it!

It's artsy and mildly bizarre. The tie to Double Suicide just increases the intrigue. I love the color scheme too & the section with Mick and John gives it the just the right shot of humor to balance it out. The essence of the album (and the absence of Christine) is captured beautifully in this cover with just Stevie & Lindsey featured on the front.

Jihei's wife Osan tries to keep her husband with his two children and asks Koharu to leave him. The two lovers make a pact of double suicide to escape from the rigid rules of the Japanese society of 1720 and stay together after death.
Wow! That falls in line with some of their lyrics in the past few years about not being able to be together but maybe in another life, or maybe in a parellel universe. Wow

The cover also makes me that Mick and John aren't as important, because they aren't fully shown, even though they founded and made the band what it is.

Wow, thx for the posts and (pics) Villavic and Michelle.

ISA95, the same could be said of Mirage on any album cover that didn't feature FLMC...the name is what is important here, I think Mick understands this.
