Default Analyzing album covers: LIVE (1980)

This was the first Fleetwood Mac album I bought. And I loved the cover, though adored more the inner pictures. But the front cover is like a black & white Monet. For long time I wasn't sure where was Stevie and where Christine, but now I know Stevie is near Lindsey (she is, isn't she? ).

It makes me recall what Mick wrote about touring in 1978: Along these lines, I remember Stevie remarking, as she looked at the motley Mac about to take the stage of some stadium in various costumes comprising bits of Dodger uniforms, chiffon outfits, waistcoats and breeches, silks and bell-bottoms: "This is weird. We all look like we're going to a different place."

I love this cover, it is easy for me to see the reverse images of LB, SN, even a lil bit of Chris, but difficult to see the other two

I must have bought a later pressed version of this cd, b/c I don't have any other photos....just the concert city itinary.

I like this one, on the inside you can really see how cocaine and the tour were affecting them both mentally and physically, except for John, you can't really see his face.

I have question. Was Lindsey a fashion visionary with his Miami Vice look during the Tusk tour? Or was it a common look in 1979/80 in the States?

And don't you think he look very thin in his close up pic? Looks like it was taken when the tour already took its toll.

I like the cover and the blurriness, but don't know what it is. Is it two photos transposed over each over or are Mick and John still facing the audience while the others are already in the process of turning to leave the stage.

One thing that's always bothered/puzzled me about this cover: is Lindsey facing the audience? It's clear that everyone else is, but it looks like his back is to the audience.

Lindsey and the girl near him (Stevie?) are looking to the camera. Mick and John look to the audience. Christine (center) is an enigma to me.

This link has a very large picture, you can study it

After a couple of tours, I appreciate how the cover is a blur, because touring is like a blur.

I guess I'm one of the 'few' but I don't like this LP cover. Why with all the pictures they have can't just have a nice group shot. I think the blurry cover is horrible but thats IMO....it is what it is but it could've been sooooo much better thats all I'm saying.

Lindsey definitely has his back to the audience.

Stevie appears to as well, because we can see her hands clasped in front of her chest in a way that they wouldn't be able to behind her back.

Well, with the Mirage neck, we've already established that Stevie is a contortionist.

I always liked the cover. Love Stevie and her "poodle" hairdo.
