Quite a surprise. We always tease because Stevie talks about projects she never gets off the ground for years (Goldfish and the Lady Bug, Three Birds of Rhiannon, her memoirs, etc.) and then she goes out and gets her name on a designer collection unexpectedly?

I can't believe it.

What would she do to promote this? No Home Shopping Network.

I guess you're right. The joke has always been that you can get your Stevie outfits at chicos.com. You always hear it mentioned when they talk about people dressing like Stevie in the press, but I don't know if Margi Kent would agree.

michele, you're already giving this too much credit. google it--nothing. the phrasing of the advertisement is ****, so is the graphic design. this is a joke.

Yes, I see that now. "I can't wait . . . stand back." The opening should have been April 1, instead of May 1, 2013.

I thought it might be too good to be true, but you never know. Stevie has been hinting about many different projects she has completed lately.

Those Chico's commercials used to crack me up. Some lady walking on the beach and the announcer would say, "It's a Chico's kind of day." I'd be like, WTF? LOL
