Lindsey doing IDWTK solo gives it a different tone which is interesting. It was exciting to hear Stevie's early Chain and Christine's Keep Me There. I like the outtakes/demos with significant and noteworthy differences, not the ones where there are just a couple missing instruments or vocals; the latter seem like filler.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the product.

I agree with you

I'm loving the Lindsey only vocal on IDWTK and just love the early version of The Chain sung by Stevie.

I much prefer this disc to the other one we got, which most people already had with the previous expanded release anyway. The boxset is just about worth the money I think.

I recieven my parel on januari 29 and I Like it a lot. Esp. The Rosebud DVD as wel as The live CD.

What I do not Like is that my parel came incomplete. CD4 (More of The recording sessions) was /is missing.

Dutch online retailer bol.com is stil working on an explanation to my complaint. Untill, I'm still working on my payment

Alas, I have downloaded The cd and my personal highlight is Stevie's demo of The Chain.

one thing thats become a favorite of mine since my initial review is Oh Daddy. I wouldn't have a problem with christine narrorating EVERY Fleetwood Mac song thats ever come out. I just love hearing her direct whats going on in Oh Daddy. and while i adore stevie's prominent vocals in the chorus from the demo we got in 2004, I might prefer this version with the slight different instrumentation and lyrics. And Chris's voice sounds so danmed perfect on her own. While this band is at its best when harmonizing, I also like gettting to hear their pure solo voices like christine on Oh Daddy and Stevie's The Chain.

I really enjoy the outtake of Oh Daddy from 2004. Chris and Stevie sound *amazing* together and for the life of me, I can't understand why they removed Stevie's harmonies from the final release.

Keep Me There/Butter Cookie sounds like something Christine would've done during the Welch years.

Just received the box set myself... It's fantastic! I love it... I'm glad the price came down It's not really a complaint, but it would've been nice (i've said this) to have the DVD-Audio version of the album included since it's now OOP. Other than that, maybe a better booklet of photos from the era?

I don't understand this version of Second Hand News

I loved Never Going Back Again - duet

I Don't Want to Know is good

Loving The Chain and Keep Me There. Brilliant to include

Interesting hearing parts from the Chain make it to the end of Gold Dust Woman on the last reissue.

Loved the music in Keep Me There except for the rush ending. I don't like that last two second part.

Oh Daddy - I have always appreciated this song but hands down the best version is with Christine and Stevie singing on the last reissue.

I love Silver Springs too. Be interesting to hear the demos in the order they were cut and see the evolution. You will never get away from the sound of the woman that wants you.....

Planets of the Universe is BRILLIANT. What a great version. Some of her early demos are brilliant as is. This, Forest of the Black Roses and Julia. Just amazing.

Doesn't Anything Last. Well how can anyone not LOVE these two singing together. Just meant to be.

Agreed on everything you mentioned! Especially this ^

Interesting how one or two words can change the meaning..or intensity. It reveals much more directly with "want" vs. "haunts"

b/c he's mumbling incoherently - as he normally seems to do when making a new song and having some music but no words to fit into it yet.
