I just saw that video too! Yeah, I also read/heard "Friendships break like glass". That makes the following line "Then the Devil pours another glass. It's so easy" even more ominous.

I hope the studio version has as much feeling as this live one does!

I *liked* the song when I heard it without really understanding the lyrics.

I went to the library today to play the song (rather than my work computer or my laptop at home). Now that I can see the lyrics as transcribed here earlier AND hear the song and more clearly understand the song, WOW!

I LOVED the classic Stevie wail at 5:11! I agree with paleshadow's comment about "friendships break like glass/then The Devil pours another glass/It's so easy" being so ominous. I would LOVE it if Fleetwood Mac would include this song in their setlist.

I just walked into a bar that has a touchtunes jukebox and just randomly did a search of new songs. The first song on the list is Stevie Nicks "You Can't Fix This". So of course I played it. It awesome. Sounds just like the live version. I got chills lol. So if have a bar close by with touchtunes and want to hear it. Go!

Oh wow, that's awesome!

I don't think we have a bar around there but it's interesting that it would be on there. Do soundtracks release singles?

if you are downloading i personally prefer buying directly from the artist / sound city site. plus you won't have all stupid itunes related restrictions. you can get 3 or 4 different versions all available to you for that one price (including mobile version). someone said this all became available to them when they bought a movie ticket. i'm not sure since i both pre-ordered from grohl's site and bought movie ticket.

I do wonder what exactly happened to change Stevie's songwriting style so much since her early Fleetwood Mac days. Her songs used to be so mysteriously enigmatic, or as Lindsey said, written from the inside out. The great virtue of this was the fact they could be interpreted by the listener to mean almost anything. The songs could change meaning over time to the listener, and continue to unfold in layers. Some of Stevie's songwriting these days is definitely painfully straightforward to the point of being silly, dull, or just plain bad (what's faster than a fast car? ). That being said, she's still got better songwriting chops than the majority of current top 40 artists.

Yup, I most definitely prefer mystical, mysterious Stevie over literal Stevie. That's my main grip about this song. Other than that, it's certainly growing on me.

I admittedly wasn't a huge fan of the lyrics at first, but after listening to it over and over they kind of grew on me a little bit. Or maybe I just got used to them
