Keith said in sound city movie that Mick called him about the guitarist and he said "you may have a problem there, he wouldn't join alone" or something like that... this was interspersed scene with Lindsey saying the same story we always heard. either story is probably simplified for the sake of telling it... for all we know Mick called Keith and the Keith called Lindsey, than Lindsey said not without Stevie, than Keith called Mick back and told him about the problem, than Mick called Lindsey, and on and on - see what i'm saying? told in circles like this story doesn't sound nearly as good. so each of them just says "Mick called me"

^i guess at this point with the tour booked, it's likely not going to happen... she does, after all, have to get paid for the shows she plays at. Though they may be able to work something out if it's only the UK show...

To make it happen, I bet Mick and Stevie, and maybe John, would give their cut to Christine. Lindsey strikes me as not really caring at this point, at least if she's not involved with the project.

^^haha... LOLz... Yeah maybe one of the band members just cuts her a cheque. Well... I certainly hope it happens! It's always possible that the current tour could be the last, so I'd love to see them have Chris onboard one final time.

I don't see it happening. Possibly one show, possibly even just one song. But even then I would be shocked.

If Mick were smart, he'd be spending all his energy trying to get Christine to contribute as a full band member on a new Mac album. Or should I say ALLOWING her to participate as a full band member without having to commit to a tour. The world needs one more Rumours-lineup studio album! A real kick in the ass, fist in the air salute to the band before they all lose their teeth.

About 10 minutes before coming on stage they pipe through the speakers:
The Chain (original Demo)
Crystal (FM version with LB singing)
and then the curtains open and the first live song is Fireflies followed by the usual version of The Chain after which they just rock the house down for the rest of the set.

Why? Because the original demo of The Chain shows the love, Crystal shows the vision, Fireflies is about survival, FM version of The Chain is about commitment to each other and then the rest of the set shows what they have done over the years.

What I said was "That would have been the case if they had toured behind the "Time" record." All of those shows were before "Time" was released, hence they never toured in support of "Time".

I'd settle for her playing Songbird in the UK shows... But a full album w/ Christine on harmonies, keys and as a writer/lead vocals and such.. wow!!!!
