But I don't think she means she had guilt because she and Lindsey never left Fleetwood Mac, because I don't think she would have attacked Lindsey if she felt that she had breached a promise to him to become BN again. I think she means she always had this guilt about breaking up Fleetwood Mac and never wanted it to happen, so that's why she lashed out, because Lindsey was ending the band. Even though she stayed, I think when Lindsey left she technically felt it was over anyway.

I think the fight was so intense not because they were a sexual couple at that time, but because they loved each other and would miss each other (Mick says Stevie told Lindsey he was breaking her _____ heart) and couldn't believe that everything was coming to an end after all the years they'd been together. Stevie was mad that Lindsey could leave, because she'd never done that, no matter how bad things had gotten. And Lindsey was hurt and didn't want to leave either, though feeling he had no choice. Mick said Lindsey sat in his car outside for awhile, like he wanted someone to come outside to him, perhaps bring him back. No one did.
