Here's the cloud player. Wouldn't it be great if it downloaded the Rosebud video to your device too?

Default Recording date

Does anybody know on what date in 1977 the live concert was recorded?

Thanks,
GJK

I'm literally so excited for this. I'm pretty sure you can pre-order it tomorrow (1/28) in the U.S. as well. I already have disc 1 and disc 4 because of a 2 disc cd pack I found at Barnes&Noble and I love Listening to the Outtakes.
Second Hand News (Outtake): Includes a little countdown from Lindsey otherwise no other significant differences.
Dreams (Outtake): No major differences
Brushes (Never Going Back Again) [Instrumental Outtake]: An instrumental take on the song, features a really pretty intro, one of my favorites on the disc.
Don't Stop (Outtake): No Huge differences
Go Your Own Way (Outtake): No major differences except Mick comes in later and it doesn't give off the same energy, but still a nice listen
Songbird (Outtake): No huge differences with Christine's piano and vocals however this version features more Lindsey.
Silver Spring (Outtake): Version is 6 minutes but other than that, no huge differences
You Make Loving Fun (Outtake): Has a quirky intro and a longer instrumental section in the middle, harmonies are different and instead of saying "All I wanna do" after "YOUUUUU MAKE LOVIN FUN" they alternate between "Feelin' it's time to try" and "Beginning to wonder why"
Gold Dust Woman #1: at the beginning you can hear Lindsey screaming which is strange, at the end instead of Stevie's haunting dialogue you hear her haunting moaning!
Oh Daddy (Outtake): Nothing major except you can hear Stevie's vocals a bit which makes the song more haunting and I overall enjoy this version more than the original
Think About It (Outtake): A more rock version of the song featured on Stevie's First Solo album "Bella Donna"
Never Going Back Again (Demo): A short instrumental version of the song.
Planets of the Universe (demo): An early demo of the song from "Trouble in Shangri La"
Butter Cookie (Keep Me There) [demo]: an unfinished version of a pretty cool Christine Song
Gold Dust Woman (demo): A stripped down version of the song with just guitar and drums.
Doesn't Anything Last (demo): A very short, pretty, demo song from Lindsey obviously about Stevie
Mic the Screecher (jam): a weird little "jam session" with a screeching noise in the background
For Duster (The Blues) [jam]: a bluesy 4 minute jam session.

There are some really noticeable differences in these mixes, or remasters, of the songs. I love the new mix of You Make Loving Fun. Pretty cool so far. I keep playing The Chain demo over and over again.

Hi! Well, the live show was recorded in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Nashville and Columbia (South Carolina). Nashville was recorded on May 21, 1977, but I really don't know the rest.
Regards!

I got my dispatch email from Amazon today. The price reduced from £65 to £49 which was a welcome bonus.

My super deluxe edition is already in my Amazon Cloud player. I downloaded it and put it on all my devices last night. If you ordered it on Amazon, their new autorip feature has already put it in your cloud player too!

For those still waiting for the deluxe edition to show up in your Cloud, it seems your ordered copy of the boxed-set has to ship first. Once it does, the AutoRip feature should kick in for the rest of the tracks.

I'm an old school/new school hybrid, I guess. For my favorite artists, I HAVE to have a hard copy of their releases (that's why I'm really hoping FM's new tracks will be released on CD in some way or another, even if it's just as part of yet another "hits" package).

But I do also love the immediacy and convenience of digital downloads. For example: I can hear a track by Mumford & Sons, love it, go to amazon.com and buy it -- all within a matter of minutes. Really can't beat that.

The nice thing about the AutoRip feature that LittleSpacey, Elle, Michele and I are all talking about, is that when you buy a physical CD through amazon, they're now automatically adding that album to your Cloud -- at no extra charge. So, not only do you have the hard copy, but you also have a digital copy that you can transfer to an iPod, Kindle, etc. It's a pretty cool feature, IMO.

It has been very frustrating when some of Lindsey's songs have not been available as hard copies, especially since DRM features prevent you from transferring them. My car downloads music from my CDs into its own hard drive. It downloaded all of Seeds We Sow, but it won't download the bonus Sleeping Around the Corner because of licensing restrictions placed on the track. The car will only download from hard copies, not from my Kindle or Ipad, so . . . it's very hard to keep music all in one easily accessible place, to listen where and how I want. Sometimes the downloads are in lower quality (Itunes). So, yes I want the hard copy whenever possible.

Fans want hard cds and vinyl too.

As far as Amazon goes. I have no idea what they're dong. I don't know if mine has shipped yet, because I only went on Amazon after I read Little Spacey's post. The item is still listed as pre-ordered. I haven't received a shipping notification yet.

Is that the Super Deluxe set Phil?

I looked on Amazon earlier and it was up for £54 with free postage. Much better than the £70 that it first went on sale for.

I'm holding fire now though in case tickets for the UK shows go on release this week. Couldn't afford £130 which is probably what the combined cost would be.

Mine was $95 with tax. Oh, we had it good for so many years, not having to pay tax on Amazon. All good things must pass and it wasn't fair anyway. Still when the price went up more than $7 in my cart due to tax I gasped a little.
