Stevie: "A song called Without You that is really old and was supposed to be on the Buckingham Nicks album but somehow missed out. Don't know how, but it did."

Lindsey: "'Cause it wasn't written yet."

Also... YES. My heart skipped a beat when I read that.

And now we know a little bit about what Sad Angel will sound like: "Hello, hello, sad angel.."

OH MY GOD, THEY'RE ACTUALLY GOING TO SING WITHOUT YOU!! This is quite possibly the best news I've heard in a minute. Plus they added another show nearby!

This is definitely a good day, indeed.

Quote:
After over four decades together, Fleetwood Mac is still thriving. The band is re-releasing their album Rumours and will soon be embarking on a newly expanded North American tour. Despite bumps along the way, lead singer Stevie Nicks partially credits the band's recent reconnection to her mother's passing.

Fleetwood Mac has been on many hiatuses throughout the years, which the band says has become an almost necessary cyclical process for them to break off and embark on solo endeavors amid spurts of recording and touring together.

A few years after the band wrapped its Unleashed tour, it is back together for another tour, which Nicks mainly credits to the passing of her mother, Barbara, in late 2011.

"My mom passed away a year and two months ago, so Lindsey (Buckingham, guitarist) and I have talked a lot about that," Nicks said in a sit-down with Buckingham and drummer Mick Fleetwood (bassist John McVie was not present).

"She was the last of the Old Guard, so it's been a little bit shocking for all of us, but I think in a strange sort of way it's kind of really reconnected us in a way because we miss her and we wish she wasn't gone. She loved Lindsey and she loved Mick, and she loved me. ...Losing Barbara has really, I think, brought us back together in a lot of ways."
While they've recently joined back together for the Fleetwood Mac Live 2013 tour--which was recently extended an additional twelve shows due to the high volume of demand for the shows-- Nicks, who has maintained a steady solo career over the years, divulged that it's only natural that the band will be on hiatus once again.

"It is like a marriage and if you're together 24 hours a day every single day, no matter how much you care about somebody, you need a break," she said. "So, we take that three-year break and it seems to work really beautifully for us."

In addition to the band's 2013 tour, it is also re-releasing its 1977 album Rumours, which has become one of the best-selling albums of all time with an astonishing 40 million estimated records sold. The reissued album will feature live recordings and previously unreleased music.

Watch the video to hear the band talk about the re-released edition of Rumours, which will be available January 29.

There's a video at the source of the interview... or at least, a video of Mick and Lindsey listening while Stevie talks.

I also don't know why Stevie apologized to Lindsey for joking that Mick had 20 children.

I took her apology as an "I know I'm being silly -- I'll behave now" kind of aside.

Lindsey didn't comment on Bieber.

Stevie on Bieber: "He looks good."

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

Actually I think she said at first: "I think he's cute." And then lastly: "Sings good."

But either way...

First, WITHOUT YOU .

Then, why is Lindsey so angry? Ok, the old lady won't shut up but you know she's being quite nice to him. I just wonder what he thinks of Justin Bieber...And the three year gap thing

We need to start tallying up how many distinct times Stevie mentions the 3 year thing.

Knowing that Lindsey thinks that specific time frame is a bunch of nonsense makes it really amusing to me every time she says it.

Exactly. I think he thinks most of the things she says is nonsense. The Without you not being on BuckinghamNicks thing, JUSTIN BIEBER, the three year gap...knowing him i think he even disagrees on the worst tour memory. Lindsey would have played Rumours the night after that.
I like the whole "keeping the energy" segment .

(Also i agree with the best tour memory not helping Mick's reputation. This is so him! 45 years of playing and his best memory was when he was the most paid )

Anyone realized or mention that the background track in that interview is probably Sad Angel?

Well, truthfully - they are not going to share those memories in public - the good, the bad, the ugly?? Um, I think not. That would start way too many fights or rekindle too many sparks!

But, Stevie's always chatty Cathy and I think they're fine with it. She can talk circles around these interview questions so I think Lindsey's totally fine with letting her babble.

THIS!!!

But, I'm a little surprised. I thought it was part of the Coffee Plant demos. So, those demos must be from another time period from late '73 - '74?

Bet Lindsey's girls also love the Bieb. That three year thing is so hilarious. She has really latched onto that puppy.

Just sounded like generic background music to me...

This was also done during Unleashed press on Extra. It was an LB track of one of their hits - but redone. So, I won't be surprised if this will be Sad Angel.
