I would vote Mystery to Me as it truly is a Rumours before Rumours. No doubt that if the promotion could have been followed through, it would have at least sold in the White album category. It's held up well with the passage of time and contains great writing and performances by both Bob and Christine. Hypnotized and Keep on Going later went on to become staples in classic rock radio and back in the day easily could've been chart toppers.

Fav- Bare Tree's

For kicks

Least Fav- Seems like I buck the norm a lot, Cause I say...Mystery to me. That album has a whopping 3 tracks I skip...... lol.

I didn't vote for it, but I do adore Penguin. That album contains some of my favorite Christine songs of all time!

I like Heroes a lot, too for that matter.

I voted Mystery, but really I love all of these. Bob and Christine really shined together.

It's a tough choice for me between Bare Trees and Mystery to Me.

I'll go with Mystery to Me. Why and Hypnotized are my favorite from the Christine/Welch era.

actually...all the albums are good, but I'm not a big fan of Kiln House. Some of JS's tracks are too obscure.
Thanks for the info. I do have the pre-Stevie/Lindsey FM albums in my collection which I have not played in ages.I got to spin them more often.

Future Games takes me somewhere I've never been before. I think I read somewhere that it has a following amongst surfers. I can understand why. Also, that opening: Woman of a 1000 Years makes the ache of Danny's yearning indelibly felt.

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

Future Games.

I go through periods when I listen to early Fleetwood Mac and now is one of those times. My nephew gave me a vinyl copy of "Kiln House" that he found in boxes my dad, who passed a way a few years ago, had left in the garage... and Michael gave me a copy of the album at Christmas.. he commented about how it was such an interesting cover.. with the little monster guys.. he he heee.. I miss Christine.. if only he would listen to Fleetwood Mac - he does like both Neil Young and the Rolling Stones) and he did turn me on to the Alabama Shakes.. but Kiln House led me to Future Games..

but back to Fleetwood Mac, excited about my mini-tour in April - a Philly, NYC, back to DC... it's nice to have your favorite band still perfoming years after you fell in love with the Fleetwood Mac self titled album.

Future Games is so present. You could play it on the radio or at a bar and people would get it or at least the stoned people.

Future Games. A good sunday morning with a cup of strong coffee and one of the most interesting, and beautiful, Fleetwood Mac albums on the turntable.. Future Games. The music speaks for itself.

Can't so I'm too suprised about Mystery to Me. Why is mostly considered one of Christine's best Mac songs and certainly her best Pre-Rumours era song.

Hypnotized is Bob's best song period.
