That is curious. My guess is that it could be something that was done post-production, and he wasn't there for it. Like how Lindsey played on the song "Behind The Mask", but Rick Vito only met Lindsey for the first time at the second-to-the-last BTM tour date.

I guess, but I'd be surprised if LB allowed someone to come in last second and change/add something without hearing it before it's release.

Maybe Dashut recorded some parts with Froom, that, in a later stadium, was used by Lindsey in the definitive version. remember, he's a windowdresser, not a songwriter.

I was on Ultimate Classic Rock and they had two if the three song titles. Sad Angela and Miss Fantasy.

I'm Pretty sure they will wait with the new songs untill the Rumours luxury cashcow has arrived and had It's peak. So no new songs untill the first week of march, is my guess.

I'm sorry to be negative .Why bother with new tunes.Radio will ignore them like they did with Stevie's IYD tunes. If the new tunes do get some airplay .They will only survive for about 3 weeks and end up getting lost with the mix of younger artists on the playlist.Forgot the top 40 stations.

Probably will hear it more on the River formatted stations plus some classic rock stations.

Hahahaha.LOL.

I just sense this with her.

I just feel so sorry for her for having one or two big hits on any charts.

Pretty please let her have one hit please.

She's not the only one .Some older artists and bands have luck and some don't.

I don't understand the pre-occupation with how much the radio will play the new music.

I mean, I definitely see that that would be a concern for people like the record label and the band, because radio = exposure and money etc...

But as far as us fans go - who cares?

If I have it on my iPod/computer/CD I don't need to hear it on the radio. I just want to HEAR new music period.

Now, I get being disappointed that songs you like don't get a bunch of attention and aren't honored by the media/critics in the way you think they deserve to be. Especially if it has a bearing on that artist putting out future material. But let's be honest - If they put out new music, whether it's just these 2 songs, or maybe an EP/LP if we're lucky... this will likely be the last time. I don't foresee there being a follow-up. So I say just enjoy it and not worry about how it's charting. Or how it will chart if they release it. I'm just worried about them actually releasing it.

It's great to hear they are actually going to release something new at this point in time, or rather near-ish to this point in time.

However, I'd very much like to hear all 8 new songs right away, in one go. Why do they intend to spoon-feed them to their audience?

Here's hoping they can get another 2 new songs from Stevie and put out an album.

Also, all these new songs need to be released in a lossless format, and in a physical format, on CD preferrably, even if that's just distributed by mailorder.
They are too big a band not to put out a CD.

Mitchell Froom is a great choice as their producer. Recently, he has been doing excellent stuff.

The album he produced for this young singer called Stevie Ann from the Netherlands is amazing.
